This is Canada's minimum wage...when it hits $15.00 an hour there are going to be loss of employment, small businesses closing, etc. Management positions are going to be expecting an increase to $17.00 plus per hour. It is going to raise the cost of living. It is going to cause a lot of bad issues.

I'm concerned about the maximum I can make, not the minimum.

Since when is minimum wage designed for "Head of Households"? The real question is what happen to being able to graduate from High School and go to work for a factory or warehouse making 3,4 or 5 times the minimum wage?? Why are Head of Households working at McDonalds??

If raising the minimum wage really work lets raise it to 1,000,000 dollars a hour!

In my city over the past few years our gov't allowed thousands of immigrants in and these people opened businesses and took over the industry by low balling every other company and stealing contracts. They lowed the wages and started handing jobs to newly licensed drivers with no experience. You have to fight with them to get your pay because they like to delay giving it to you. The trucking industry will never be the same. Drivers with 20 plus years are quitting because of it. My husband is a truck driver and he wants to quit. He has had enough.

An interesting bargain. You get your wall, a massive border patrol and deporting every illegal you can find. All 11 million. In return, minimum wage is $25 an hour. Likely %90 of democrats will support you.

That's correct Sammy, there will be no one to ask you "do you want fries with your meal"... :)

Nearly all fast food workers will be displaced by robotic technology eventually..but at a $25 an hour minimum wage, companies would be massively incentivized to invest in automation very quickly. Robots never call in sick, show up to work high or demand to have the day off so they can go participate in some nonsensical protest.

They will just bring a load of immigrants in on low wages m8....just like they do in the UK, many of them will work for fuck all just so they get the job, this is all planned by Governments and businesses, they make out it's to help the lower paid but really it is a con so they eventually pay less.......yes small businesses do suffer but again big business don't give a shit about the little people.

It is sad because it is causing racism. I have lived here my entire life (59 years) and I have never witnessed racism at this level before.  It scares me.

It's all in the Globalists plan m8, cause as much disorder as possible then clamp down on everyone's freedoms, this has been a long time in the planning, it's getting to the point now where it don't matter who you vote for in an election because one sides agenda is the same as the other sides...they just present it differently......look at the crap we are getting in the UK now for wanting out of the EU.....we are bombarded with lies and bullshit, not only from Europe but by our own corrupt politicians who have no interest in listening to the people.....we don't matter one iota to these self serving bastards.

Or randomly deposit pubic hair and other body parts in meals. Can't be that bad of a thing as long as I get my Whopper and fries with out having to go in and make the damn thing myself. They need to screen food workers ALOT more carefully before hiring. Especially since they are handling peoples livelihood in there hands.

Check this article out....it's a lot closer to becoming a reality than many people think:

You know what's sad about this...   I am a 911 Dispatcher in a very rural county in Ohio...  I'm making $10.98/hr with a .75 cent shift differential...  I'm also working a second job as security at a private gated community and make the Ohio Minimum wage of $8.15/hr.  I am BARELY making ends meet.....  I work 50-60 hours a week and I'm at bare minimums on my bills and still struggle...  it's a sad world we live in.

I agree though... if minimum wage goes up, costs go up, cost of living will be on the rise...  it's a vicious cycle!!
