It gives the sense of accomplishment as you have to think of intuitive ways to survive; taking in all aspects like food, hunger, health, shelter, protection, combat, etc. Now with that being said, slap a few hundred mods in there and bring huge factories, dynamic endgame content that takes weeks to prepare, fight bosses that are harder than vanilla ones, and explore new lands. Minecraft is always a great game, and is often overlooked as a children's game, when in reality, it all depends on your play style and sometimes requires a great deal of strategic thinking.
