may also be the data storage  (HDD/SSD) starting to fail  I'd back-up your wanted data now  then defrag only HHD  for SSD  check firmware updates

how much free space on OS  drive ?

I'm assuming your on Win7?, ive just checked mine in a virtual env using windows 7 and I get the same issue so its an issue with Origin itself.

if you go to https://www.dm.origin.com/download/legacy  and download the older version and see if it fixes it.

Ewwwww yukkies. :shock: Stay with w7, it is way way way better than installing all that spyware and having files disappear on you.

Then try first to uninstall only Origin ;) and reinstall it  .... if that not helps.. then do the fresh install of Windows

Your ssd has nothing to do with your problem.

Maybe try to contact origin see if they can give you a solution. https://www.originpc.com/support/
