We quit going over after the license and pass port issues became a pain. There's a lot of great bass fishing in both Ohio and Michigan so we stay there now. I also bass fish on Saginaw bay on Lake Huron. All of it's catch and release. Now walleye and perch, maybe not catch and release. We love them on the table. Last week, we perch fished near Monroe Michigan and got our limit of 100. The catch weighed 30 lb. They were nice sized perch. Good Eye! Yes I was using a dropshot rig. The bait was a Yamamtoto Shad Shape. Ive got a Ranger 621 that stands up pretty well to rough water.
