The article came out today just as I wiped windows 10 last night

http://www.pcgamer.com/windows-10-update-sends-some-pcs-into-a-bsod-boot-loop/

The same thing was affected me the last week or so , I thought I had 2 hard drives failed on me. I had enough of it last night and decided to wipe Windows 10 and go back to Windows 8.1 and next minute the 2 hard drives were working perfectly.

I am never going back to that OS unless there is major improvements done to it in the near future

It was actually late Tuesday night when I got the last update that totally fucked up my windows.

I guess I was just one of the unlucky ones

Once you booted into your desktop your fine. People who got the bad updates cant even boot into desktop as a BSOD would appear just after logging in

Could of been but even with that said you would of thought Microsoft would of said "X Y and Z" was needed in order to update windows. If they didnt have it then they could of prepared an alternative update for PC's without it.

Not really fair on companies PC's that have issues since the update without them knowing that they were missing support.

I disabled Windows update VIA the registry about a month and half ago on my AMD 8 core system.  I had problems with the (Feature update to Windows 10, version 1703) Also knows as the ( Windows 10 Creators Update )  It was causing major lag in my games and crashing Firefox when I would try to watch any videos that use Flash OR HTML player.  Uninstalled the fucker and restarted and it automatically started to install the damn thing again.  I had the same exact problem with the Anniversary Update earlier this year.  I will re-enable windows update in a couple months once they patch the it like they did for the (Creators Update) .

Funny it runs fine on the TV PC that's running an old Intel Q6600 quad core.

it's either Microsofts attempt to sabotage the AMD based machines AGAIN OR They did not properly test for compatibility.  I really don't know how they can test Every variable in a Virtual environment and call it good to go.   It's not the 1st time they fucked up my AMD based PC with an update while the Intel based machine actually works Better after one of the Feature updates.

Did you not try to boot to win10 cd or usb and repair boot the can do it auto or manual with command prompt.

I have never had any issues with my UK version so it could just be the Irish copy as they are a little backwords.

I've disabled the auto update through the registry just so I know when updates are available before i install.  No issues here from the latest update.

purchased a new video car one week before that update,rx470 witch was  a bad card that caused boot loops with thread stuck in device driver  .fault

durring my problem period of endless reboots that update came up and now I cant get anymore updates for win 10.tried everything except wiping and starting fresh.they couldn't repair or replace my card so I go reimbursed and use  my old gpu now ,but at least now windows works but wont update anymore,on exit it gives the option to update and restart but it never updates. it works so Ill wait till the fix comes around.

geeeez xp was so much easier to figure out and fix..bdos and error s in...
