I think I have mentioned this in-game as well. There is this delta between when you press the Killstreak activation key  for RCXD, Predator etc and when you're in the Killstreak. It's about 1.5 seconds as far as a rough measurement goes. In this state we neither have a weapon to shoot nor are we in the safety of the Killstreak. Many a times, I have been shot or blown up while halfway to the Killstreak activation. 

Is this your intention to leave the player vulnerable or something that perhaps was overlooked? In past we would circumvent this by doing a conjunct move of running and jumping after we press the activation key (thank you whiners). Since you removed that we have no means to protect ourselves except to go look for a hiding place for killstreak  activation. This is not so affordable when you're the last one left, or your team is down in numbers.

Can you make the killstreak activation quicker? I have a video recording of this happening if you like.

Yes it stays that way. After all, its *supposed* to be that you are never invisible to begin with. You are standing there while driving the car around and can be shot as in the stock games. That's the default setting and this option is a compromise. Its a lot easier than say S&D where you may be the last one left and have to spend the time planting or defusing the bomb. Or even more so, compared to this how many times have you been shot while in the middle of reloading a machine gun or some other gun?

if you ever change it to people standing there while driving the car, the server will die faster than activation of the said killstreak.

Buwhahaha. Thats the trade off. You get invisibility but also a short moment of vulnerability. Fair trade, wouldnt you say?

@Sammy. I totally agree with you. I do not find that vulnerablity disturbing at all. The only question I have is why the time it takes to get into your killstreak (car, predator etc.) Is different for everyone. Some people turn into a car almost instantly and for me it takes like 3.5 week before I become the car. My 91 year old grandmother suffering from dementia (loved her very much) even got faster into her car than I do on cod. Thats the only unfair thing about it in my opinion.

Sleight of hand would make it faster since the initial trigger is waiting for a weapon change. That happens when your current weapon is fully lowered and then switched out (but before raised). The pad is considered a weapon. After that, the timing is hard coded.

I always use sleight of hand but somehow it doesn't work. Oh well.... :)

I don't find this to be consistent with all players or sessions.

One day last week I couldn't die when turning into a car, even when being attacked. This past week I was unable to pull off the switch without getting killed or in a hiding spot.

Pretty inconsistent

I've mentioned this to several people on Ts in the past and they all agreed it would be better if you were protected while turning into a streak.

Why? Its no different than whether or not you should be protected while reloading or changing weapons.

As it is, you should be grateful that the standard setting of you standing there (as the stock game) while driving the car is disabled so that you are invisible. I suppose its true. Give an inch and they will demand a mile.  :lol:

We asked for the jump trick to be taken away while doing kill steaks now that it is gone you are vulnrable deal with it complainers. Oh I want to be invincible while I get in my car I want to be invincible when I do my killstreak  whaa whaa  shut up. Lol
