I am not a big fan of LG TV's or Monitors. I had a monitor's pixels burn out after 3 years and my daughters TV did the same thing around the  4 year mark.

I have a Sanyo now that is 2 years old and the picture is awesome.

This is a link to all their 4k TV's between 60"-69"

I’ll give my 2c here. If having the absolute latest thing out there then spend the money for OLED. On the other hand, if you are like me and tend to buy new stuff every four or five years, why spend the extra $ when you can get a very good TV for less than half the price. We just got the TV below for my Dad at a great price and he couldn’t be happier.

https://www.bestbuy.com/site/sony-65-class-64-5-diag--led-2160p-smart-4k-ultra-hd-tv-with-high-dynamic-range/4803800.p?skuId=4803800

The biggest reason I would say don’t fork out the money for OLED right now is you will probably end up with buyers remorse when that very TV technology is available for 1/2 the price in the next couple of years.

Anyway, whatever you decide is the most important thing to you, I hope you find something that makes you happy. Good luck!

I'd go with what FUNky said - also prefer to be able to pick up locally to avoid hassle of a possible return

I found these 2 on the Walmart website. Cheaper than any other store.

reason that burned out was  like you'll like a brite screen 100%

on the the slider   adjustment

not need to burn your eyes

brilliance isn't a good picture for over drives the LED's

me and bro buy same TV model, his lasted  3yrs on auto setting

mine is going on 9 or so yrs with manual adjustments not auto

for hate a screen that burns my eyes to look at an colour saturation

note:  Toshiba, LG Display Co Ltd and Samsung  are the producers of panels today with china coming up

I still have a plasma Panasonic from 2009 . only picture that a modern TV has compared to that is OLED .and yes I'm waiting for the price to come down .

http://www.trustedreviews.com/reviews/panasonic-viera-tx-p42v10-42in-plasma-tv

LED /LCD are cheap to build that's why plasma got pushed out the market .

Actually on the slider it was half way. I do not like bright screens and neither does my daughter.

After the pixels burned out on my monitor I started googling for reviews and found that it is just how LG makes their product. Some get burned pixels and others do not. Now I use Asus and will never buy another brand but Asus from now on. Sometimes it's just better to spend a little bit more and get a brand name.

Guess it depends when it is on the assembly line. Wednesday or Friday? LOL who knows.

SAMSUNG FTW

the better tvs these days come with their own BOX for connections. the only thing connected to the tv is the pwer and cable from the box for connections.
