Since this afternoon, I do not have any sound in game. Teamspeak is working fine but can't hear anybody ingame and I think they cannot hear me. Voice chat is enabled ingame and the little 'mic test bar' also shows that my mic is working fine.

I do not have any people muted and didn't change any settings in my volumecenter or something. Worked fine this morning but when I started playing this afternoon it didn't...:ermm:

Anybody any ideas on how to fix it? Had the same issue but then with teamspeak (couldnt hear/talk in TS but I could ingame). But I don't remember how that got resolved back then...

Probably won't read replies today cause in about an hour or 3 I will probably be hammered and not capable of reading properly ( )

Have a good new year all!

Note: If I disable the speakers of my headset, I do have voicechat ingame. But then I can't listen to the game with my headset, which sucks.... When I reactivate the headset speakers, voicechat disapears.
Weird stuff..now off drinking!

Restarted it and rebooted it (that's like putting out pc and fire it up after some minutes right? :P ). Didn't work...

Have you checked your drivers for your head set? If so uninstall and reinstall. We are just talking about headset correct ?

No clue how to so that. But headset is working fine. Can talk with and hear everyone on TS. It is just that ingame I hear the game itself, only not the players (and they so not hear me).

Again, im a total noob when it comes to computer stuff

I assume cod4. Probably not the problem but check out cl_voice in the console. It should be 1.

Also checked the drivers I think. They are all up to date. Not even fun playing like this :ermm:

Hopefully @Dukoo knows how to fix it. He claimes to be good with sound settings etc. But he probably is too hung over now :D

Nah..that would be the dead last option. Strange thing is the voice chat is working on the TDM server. Seems to be just the FTAG server :o

First thing to check is this @Jeroen v.2

1.png.91ed153c252ef416a12360c3e5312623.png

And yes, I have a hangover so fuckoff.

With Love,
Dukoo.

Did that first since it was a part of the problem before. But everything was set right and in TS everything worked, just no voice chat in game. When I went on the tdm server it suddenly worked, it seemed to be only the FTAG server not working. However, after playing the tdm server, it worked again on the FTAG one so....weird stuff but seems to work again.

Got some working days ahead of me so my headset can get some rest ;)

So it works again, You can next time also try to unplugg your headset / connection to your subwolfer.

9 of 10 time's things like these fail to run drivers for your sound card, headset etc etc...

Glad it works again.
