I don't like coffee... (don't hit me with a baseball bat or look at me like if I were an Alien !), but once in a while I'll SO enjoy a French Vanilla Cappuccino from Tim Horton's Yuuuummmy ! lol

join the green coffee buying club...and when it's in-season...the Blue Mountain...you can split the cost with everyone else to buy a bag or 3...you'll just have to roast them yourself...or find someone to roast it for you...

would love to, but im on the other side of the planet.

But what i will try to do is to talk about it to the coffee shop guy, he got a really small shop, full of goodies and its half coffee, half Rhum ;)

Think im going there next week, long time i want some good rhum

What happens at the GCBC is:  When a certain coffee comes in season, a thread is created for everyone that wants some to chip in...then the bag or bags are ordered and shipped to a member's house who then boxes and ships to everyone else what they ordered.  Don't matter where you live.

sounds great Timmah, but a tiny domestic roaster would cost me around 500.

But like i said maybe the coffee shop guy can roast the greens for me ? i will have to go ask him about that.

im also thinking about other coffee systems,  for example, i wanna try the napolitan coffee machines, maybe something like an aeropress too
I dont want a french press anymore as it use way too much coffee amount. Its like u need twice the coffee amount of the coffee u use in an italian machine.

Super-hot 100% dark-roast Columbian coffee mixed at a 50/50 ratio with Crown Royal to get the smiles started and the dismissal slip delivered.

Grow your own hybrid:  high-quality cannabis grafted to Columbian beans to produce the bean that is later roasted and ground, then mixed with the crown royal.  Make it more fun to work on spreadsheets and develop creative accounting practices.

Just suggestin'.

I use a Westbend Poppery for roasting...got a 2nd for backup...got 'em on E-bay  You want the 1500 Watt version...you can find this stamped on the base of the unit.  Shouldn't have to pay more than around $50.00 for one...they're very well built....

I use a Capresso conical burr grinder... the grinder is VERY IMPORTANT....you can have the best beans....use a crappy grinder...& you'll get below average brew @ best.

Street is right about the grinder. I started with that same Capresso but quickly realized that it wasn't nearly sufficient for espresso. I have since upgraded several times going from the Capresso to the Breville Smart Grinder > Baratza Encore > Baratza Vario > and now the Compak E8. I'm not fucking around anymore. ;)

Here is my current cafe setup, some of my latte art, and a shot being pulled from my Slayer Espresso machine. The Compak E8 is the grinder just left of the espresso machine. The vario is left of that.
