I never have a problem running it at 250, and my graphics card is capable of a lot more. What would cause my FPS to start doing this? I have never had this problem before. Hard drive does look suspicious but other things would show up I guess Could be pcie bus settings are not correct, sometimes on auto they slip back, can you check what they are, presume your system should be generation 3. I have an NVIDIA card and the last time I updated drivers , it downloaded the GE Force Experience, which does some recording of games, I guess. I turned that crap off and voila! No more FPS drops.
