The vet suggested not to do anything with it if he is not ill. Now the lump ruptured, got infected and it is indeed cancer. Poor doggy is now admitted to the hospital with a fever of 40.8 Celcius and got an IV getting fluid and antibiotics. Surgery to remove the lump is scheduled somewhere between tomorrow and next week, depending on how fast the infection wears down and along with it the fever. Then we will know if the cancer is 'bad' or 'good'.
