Thats enough to play games here since you are located in the US, which where the servers are. Its even playable to play on EU servers but impossible to play on Australian servers.

just remember, that 100MB is only guaranteed to the companies head end equipment in your area. also another thing that is important is the "upload speed". it should be more than sufficient though, try speakeasy.net and check your speeds.

 

edit: don't waste your money on 200MB no one uses that kind of speed at a personal residence and as far as i know, no business does either lol

No, you need at least 1000Mps.

 

Seriously, 1 Mbit is enough for gaming ... just not for downloading games (quickly).

In my experience ppl with fast fiber lines experience more often jitter (erratic ping) problems than ppl with slower copper lines.

For gaming Ping is important, Jitter and Packet Loss. Speed is not.

HughesNet is advertising all over my area right now...  NO THANKS!  I'd rather stick with low-ping cable.  As has been said previously, big fancy numbers mean NOTHING - PING is the thing.
