How I got interested in guns is not a very clean way lol I went to pick my brother up where he was hunting. When I got there he was in the bush and his friend asked me if I wanted to shoot his rifle. Of course I said yes. He gave it to me, set up a can for me to shoot on a log, showed me how to hold it and aim. I shot it, the impact made me go flying backwards and I ended up in a mud puddle on my ass. It was a bit awkward as I was wearing a mini skirt and high heels at the time as I was coming from work. But the best part was I HIT THE TARGET LOL. I got so excited about it a few years later I got 3 hand guns, rifle and a gatling gun. I was never allowed to fire the gatling wellll mainly because it was illegal. lol I sold all my guns when I had my kids because I just did not want them around my kids while they were growing up. What's fun, if you're into target shooting/plinking, is when you get so comfortable with a gun that you develop a strong sense of trajectory. I like an armed populace; haven't heard of a sustained mass shooting at a place known for allowing open carry (Walmart, my local gas station for instance); it would be put to a stop quickly.
