I use Google Chrome for my browser because of some things I do that it works great on, but.......  This last couple of weeks its been acting really weird. I spend a lot of time on Facebook just keeping up with all my worldwide friends and such.  Then I look up at the tabs I have open and the whole top of the screen has so many I can't imagine how that happened. I went to my settings and made sure there was nothing in there causing it. Then I reinstalled it and still have the same issue. Many of these tabs are not even things I click on but just things I scrolled over. I am at my wits end to take care of this problem. I am wondering can someone out there in XI land PLEASE help me?

That sounds like you have adware or something..

Certainly that is not the behaviour of Google Chrome..

Maybe try clearing out your cache, cookies and history. Then install the addons ghostery and adblock plus. You can easily whitelist your favorite sites with both of them. They give a pop up for it.
