People laugh at me but I use an old ball mouse, far more control, I've tried all the others and gone back to this for the games I play. On the sniper servers it gives far better fine control than any optical I have used, although to be truthful I'm still rubbish so it's more what suits you then what the hype is I think. My computer is an old amd 4 core, 8 gb 3200 memory, old gtx card and a high ping, I can still occasionally beat the guys with super rigs, especially when I' m sober. My advice would be pick something reasonably priced, you'll pay a premium for something you probably won't benefit from. Now, anyone got a new set of eyes for sale ??

Well I am a mouse trapper. I have had just about every kind of mouse both hardwired and wireless. I have had both digital and the old fashioned ones that barely reacted to anything I done. I now currently am using a G602 wireless. It's been the best of them all. I got it on a warranty when my last mouse went down in less than 2 months. It was some hardwired one but the wires broke both on the front and interior of the dang thing. I have asked for opinions everytime and finally I just went with my tgut and seemed to hit the nail on the head centered. My advice is do the research via sites that critique them and see how you feel then make your decision and live with it> GOOD LUCK trapping!

The Logitech G502 is a good gaming mouse if it's anything like the G500 that I've had for 5 years now.  I went through 4 Razor mice before I found a decent mouse that the damn wire would hold up longer than 1 year. Razor mice are really nice but the crap wires always break.

I buy Razer mice from Best Buy. They offer a two year warranty for a little extra, and it is worth it for me because mice don't last me two years usually because I type and click hard. Same for keyboards. The warranty usually is enough to get a free mouse each time after, and you may have enough left over to pay for the warranty again, due to depreciation of the old mouse, if they still sell it. As far as a mouse, it depends of you use a claw or palm grip. I use a palm grip, so I have used both Razer Naga and Deathadder. The new Deathadders break too easily, so I use the Naga and use Razer Synapse to disable all the extra buttons.

My wired G500s still going pretty good (not a hard core gamer tho). However the scroll wheel lost its 'clickity' feel. Also because of that trying to use the mmb/wheel causes the wheel to turn. That is a real pita since the mmb is used constantly in 3d work. So now I use one of the left thumb buttons for the mmb and I've come to like that better.

Moral of the story, you cant have too many buttons.

My brother is still rocking a Razer Boomslang @BoomSlang lol.  He keeps replacing switches and the wire and the teflon feet on it. Not that's he's to cheap to buy a new one, He said that he likes it because it's the only mouse that fits his hand.  His PC is built around a i7 6950X. I bet he has 10K wrapped up in it.

I always liked the Logitech G500series mice. Wired for gaming, to avoid latency issues.

Right now, I'm trying the Corsair M65. Its got a sniper button, to slow down the DPS while taking a shot.
