I opened my pc and was cleaning it out and realized the cable was loose on the hard drive

Not quite as bad as trying to figure out why your computer wont turn on, spending a bunch of time on it, only to discover it wasnt plugged in. Yes, I did that once.  But only once. Never again. :sofa:

In the past I had a motherboard and kept on looping booting and just didn't give any screen to show. So I kept on pushing on and off and on(hint: 5 times) when BIOS reset kicked in. All was reset and couldn't figure out what or why he didn't see my drives anymore. Was just a hidden F9 in the BIOS, where that combined combination unlocked other features.

Just know, any of that happens, sure check cables but main thing is th BIOS can be odd and sometimes anew BIOS version does not help at all, where they hide more options to prevent damage. In my case that time was that SATA couldn't be on AHCI and only on IDE mode. Be always sure you install Windows by AHCI and not EFI (partitions). Regedit will always do the trick.
