Trip was cut short by three days, but we went and made the most of it. Very little damage in the part of OBX we were at. Minor beach erosion and overwash. We were supposed to go deep sea fishing but the boats were not running due to rough seas. Went pier fishing with my son. He managed to pull in this citation Red Drum. 49" long and 55 lbs from less than 40 yards from the pier. Took more than 30 minutes to reel it in. Tons of fun!
