I was there for the 1998 explosion as well we had 1 fatality. It’s amazing how those memories are etched in my mind. I feel today’s explosion was more violent but the 1998 fire lasted longer. 1998 burned for about 10 hours. Todays seemed like 3-4 explosions in rapid succession We also had a secondary explosion after the initial event.
