Currently all your trojans are stored on a symantec folder in quarantine , you need to find out the exact folder or program the trojans are coming from before they go into quarantine. I'm sure if you click on the trojan it might give you the location it came from

Malwarebytes is also good. Finds and deletes every infected folder.

I would go to my task manger, shut down all programs that I didn't know what they were. Then I would run this program here. It's a stand alone and very good.

Get in safemode with networking. Booting Windows 7 pressing F8 before it loads.

They might still run in Safemode though.

You try SuperAntiSpyware  https://www.superantispyware.com/

if you can get it to run. Some times these Trojans start to take over. Good luck.. backup all data asap.

DO NOT PANIC!!! Trojans are a whole lot different from viruses and easy to get rid of.

I have had tons of these (just another one 2 days ago) and they are fun to get rid of. I always say f--k you as I delete it LOL

It is a .exe file that is there and it re-executes itself every time you restart your computer.

The very last one on that list should tell you exactly where the file is located. All trojans are located in system32.

Expand out the Current Location column and it should show you the current pathway and the exact files name then delete that file.

If it doesn't allow you to delete it to recycle bin cut and paste it to your desktop. Then restart your pc and drag it into your recycle bin and delete it.

You get them by installing a program you got from a website. There are millions of these on the internet.

Looks like they all came from your Temp folder. Empty your Temp folder and clear your browser cache ASAP.

On another note: Over the years I have noticed that computers that I've worked on with Norton/symantec endpoint protection installed all seemed to have some sort of virus in them.  Almost like the viruses are drawn in by the presence of Norton on your computer.

Years ago I started using a Good Pop Up and AD blocker and I haven't had a single virus sense. My current blocker is by far the best one.  I really like the features in AdGuard. The Free Firefox browser addon version is really good. But if you use other browsers they have an install-able version that covers all browsers.

https://adguard.com/en/welcome.html

symantec endpoint protection does use Alot of resources to. Just uninstalling it and installing something like Malwarebytes will speed up your "cumputer" quite a bit.

I use firefox browser with the extensions: adblock plus, adblock ultimate, ghostery, webmail ad blocker and yahoo mail hide ad panel. I get absolutely no ads any where.

I purchased malwarebytes because I believe that it is one of the best programs.

I use avast free anti virus. The best free anti virus program out there.  It works great. Catches everything.

Up until a year ago I never used any anti virus program. Then I got the .ykcol ransom virus. It took a lot of my shit away but I had everything backed up so I just shook my head when they asked for 1 bit coin to get the decryption key LOL  I found the executable file and told it to fuck right off delete delete delete LOL I have never had a fear of trojans, viruses because I can deal with them.

I also knew who gave me that virus as I had been getting spammed with porn email and I kept replying to them saying, "F--k off you c--t f--k s--t" LOL After I got my pc back to normal after the virus I responded to them again, "Did you really think that the .ykcol ransom virus was going to put my down? Think again you dip shit. You have no idea who you are fucking with. Send it to me again and you will find out. I have not received anything from them since. They were Russian.

These 2 inch dickless weenies that will never get laid EVER that write these trojans and viruses are just acting out to cause shit for others. LOL

first thing is like others have said empty temp folder. type in run. %temp%. it will only delete temp files not important files. this normally works.

if not run in safe mode find the file.normally in system32 then delete. but remember to empty recycle bin.

or to save time do a system restart to a last known save date.

also windows defender will also pick them out if you keep it updated.

hope this helps.

I like it. I used to use it for years. Let my account run out and never renewed it. I should of but I didn't. Thanks for mentioning that one I had forgotten about it.

Wel only one person got it right. Get rid of Symantec and I bet you don't have a single thing wrong after that. And windows defender is good enough. Remember if you paid for virus protection the program is going to have to tell you from time to time that it did its job for you so you renew your subscription. Sad but so true

Well the gasps of horror,i use nothing....say whatttt!! no anti virus no firewall all off. now and again may just download and scan with avg, then remove it.....virus of the past 10yrs ...2!....A. i am careful  B.FB links etc  never open them C. emails i do not recognise sender deleted D.Passwords rarely ever saved on PC..D if do something dodgy i VPN it...

Why you ask like above they seem to target antivirus software as put,it takes a few thousand  complaints before  oh look new one, by then to late.

If you do get one...hope you have back ups of your system, cos best way is scrub the drive and reload, anti virus may lock it away but how safe is it, using comp for payments bank details etc etc...not worth risk..scrub the drive

And if our that worried get rid of your google and apple gadgets there listening

It took my hubby a few hours to turn everything off. As he was using it and something he didn't want he just went and turned it off. He managed to turn windows update off permanently. I heard him say F U Bitch LOL

He now has the corporate copy, thanks to friend of his and it does not have all that added crap.

I won't put that crap on my pc. I use w7 64bit ultimate.

I have not and will not ever trust microspyware. I actually can't stand microsoft. They want to spy on the entire world, they need to keep it to their own country. What happens in the rest of the world is none of their business.

If linux had what I needed I would get rid of windows completely.

So...I followed almost everyones advice....safe mode, clear cache, uninstall symantec, ran some of the suggested programs, looked clean, unistalled them and installed Trend Micro, which my work subscription has room on so its the paid one, ran that and that came up clean too....

Thanks to all of you!!!!!

Usually the generic Trojans just hang out in the temp folder or the browsers cache. Occasionally they infect the registry. Those can be a pain in the ass to remove if you don't know what processes to kill before attempting to remove them.

You have to watch downloading any videos or pictures off of Facebook. It's not quite as bad as it used to be but still. I've had to format many many computers because of that shit. People will intentionally "inject" a .gif or .jpeg or mp4 or even an mp3 full of junkware, maleware, spyware, trojans, hyjackers, ransomware and the occasional key logger.
