Over the years I have tried countless mouse pads and mice . This is what I have settled on  --I prefer wireless mice - have been using a Logitech G602 foe several years and am very happy with it - can be found on sale for $30 - $40.   I also use an ICEMAT glass mouse pad - have had it for over 10 years and will never use anything else.

Logitech G402. All the bells and whistles but still simple and well priced. Had it for years now.

I am a complete Razer fan.

Razer Death Adder Chroma Gaming Mouse with 10,000 dpi.

Razer Deathstalker Chroma Gaming Keyboard because I do not like mechanical keyboards.

Razer Sphex mouse pad. It is paper thin and it sticks to the surface so it doesn't slide.

If you are a cordless fan. The Razer Momba is freaking awesome. When the battery is going you just slip the wire in and continue using it. I had mine for almost 10 years before it died. I am going to be getting another one soon.

I use the logitech M705. Been through many mouses usually end up broken. This one has been the best so far. It is usually my side buttons that break. But not on this one, it has held up very well for the price on amazon. $20.99

For 10+ years, I've used the same mouse...not the same model...the same mouse:  https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-518-Gaming-Grade-Optical-Mouse/dp/B0007Z1M50/ref=sr_1_2?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1547965524&sr=1-2&keywords=logitech+mx518

You can get the newer model, which I"ve read, work most-excellently also: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00LZVNWIA/ref=sr_ob_2?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1547965524&sr=1-2

Can't go wrong with a Logitech gaming mouse.

Even though I have had a mint-in-box backup all this time, I couldn't bring myself to open it when my trusty friend gave in;  instead, I performed surgery to splice & repair the broken wire back in May...and it was successful!  Still using Ol' Trusty & have the backup happily relaxing in it's packaging.  Can only imaging the miles put on that cord over 10 years of sliding back and forth on my mouse pad.

Still using my Locitech G500 but my next mouse will be the 502 Hero Pro 16k dps wired mouse unless they release something better.   https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-G502-Performance-Gaming-Mouse/dp/B07GBZ4Q68/ref=sr_1_7?keywords=Logitech+gaming+mouse&qid=1547993590&s=Electronics&sr=1-7

Razor mice are SHIT! It's a miracle If you are able to get more than 2-3 years out of 1 before the cord goes bad and the feet fall off. I used to use nothing but Razor stuff and I can't tell you how many I've had to sent in that were still under Warranty when they broke. If you get a Razor mouse or Keyboard please make sure that you get the extended Warranty.

I have the expensive $49 Wallmart BlackWeb "gaming mouse" and it's the biggest POS I've ever used. After "breaking it in" buying a couple thousand crafting materials in my MMO game the damn thing started to double click and now the damn buttons feel mushy. No more clicky clicky.  I bet my 8 year old Logitech G500 5.7k dpi lazer mouse has atleast 10 Million clicks on it and it works perfect. Still 100% original even the teflon feet. The G500 came out in 2009 and I got mine on sale for $38 + shipping.

WTF were you doing to them to go through that many in a short period of time? LOL

I have had only 2 razer mice in my life.

1. Razer Mamba = lasted me 10 years.

2. Razer Death Adder Chroma Gaming Mouse which I replaced my Mamba with 3 years ago.

Razer is freaking AWESOME!!!!

I'm guessing you never flew a helicopter or a Jet in Battlefield 1942 Desert Combat or BF2 before. lol  The Tootpick sized cord on the Razor mice do not hold up. The only Razer mouse that I've owned that held up longer than 2-3 years was the Boomslang ball mouse. The company was sold to a company out of Singapore shortly after the Boomslang 2500 came out.  I've had 1 Diamondback which lasted just over 2 years, 2 Deathadders because they sent me a 2nd one when I RMAed the 1 after it died in less than 2 weeks (They actually sent me a letter with it and an apology stating that a few with defective switches slipped through there QA department so they gave me 2 brand new Deathadder mice) (I gave 1 to my brother and his went kaput in about 8 months and mine lasted for just over 1 year) and a Lachesis that the cord failed on after 8 months so I took a hammer to it because the Limp dick of a cord that they put on them shorted out and burnt out the USB ports on the Very Expensive DFI LanParty motherboard that I had.

Overpriced Cheaply built Chinese Junk with a cool illuminated green logo lol

They do have a very good Lazer in them and the Razer Synapse software is much much better than Logitechs (LGS) Logitech Gaming Software.

The Logitech MX 518 gaming mouse was the best all around mouse that you could get that would hold up to pretty much any abuse. The G500 which is what I'm using is a tad bit better because of it's Awesome Lazer. It will literally track perfectly on Any surface. It tracks just as good on thick Carpet as it does on a $40 Razer Destructor 2 Pro gaming hard mouse mat.  You can lift the mouse up about 1/2 of an inch off the mouse pad and it still tracks perfectly. That's how I can do the Jump and Flic around corners so fast on COD4. Anyone that did any sort of Pro gaming in the past should know about the Flic.  ;)

@J3st3r

I have BF1942, BF BC2, BF3 and BF4 Premium Edition. I played BF BC2 the most (30 days lol), used to love the cars and tanks. I played BF4 for about 11 hours. So I can honestly say I did not ever use helicopters or jets because I have never played BF1942.

Sorry you had a bad experience with Razer. I get your frustration but not everyone has had your bad experience.

I was very hard on my mice. Gaming 4 hours minimum a day. Click, click, click, kill, kill, kill and die. lol

I used to buy nothing but logitech. I thought they were awesome. I had to replace my mouse every year. I never thought any thing other than if I could get a year out of a mouse it was a great year and well worth the money.

Then I purchased a Razer Death Adder and it lasted 5 years. I replaced it with a Mamba which lasted 10 years. Now having another Death Adder for 3 years so far.  Razer has hooked me for life.

Oh and I do not like the green colour so I have all my Razer products set to blue. All my fans inside my tower are blue as well.

I've used this one for the past year. I wasn't expecting much when we got it, but it's pretty comfortable. You can adjust the sensitivity with the button near the wheel, and a few extra side buttons too.

Down side is it's wired, but the wire is pretty long.

And it's only $10 on Amazon.
