I myself was in the United States Army from 1987-1994. Went to Boot Camp at Fort Jackson, South Carolina. Training for my mos (military occupational specialty) at Aberdeen Proving Grounds ,Maryland as a diesel mechanic. I spent one year in the reserves before I decided to go full time. My first duty station was in Giessen, Germany. after serving 2 years there, my next duty station was Fort Irwin, California. While there, I had gone to Fort Lewis, Washington for PLDC, (PRIMARY LEADERSHIP DEVELOPEMENT COURSE) to get promoted to sergeant. afterwards, I had gotten ought to pursue another career.  Anyone else have military background? and if so when and where?

Currently in Air Force since 2005 as a Weapons Director (1C5X1D) and stationed in Japan. Been here the past 2 years, before that 1 year in Korea, 3 years in Mt. Home, Idaho, 5 years in Spangdahlem, Germany, and 1 year at Eglin AFB, FL. Next base will be Tyndall AFB, FL come December.

I know we talked about it before but Elvis and my father just missed each other in the same unit in Giessen way back in the day lol. Goes to show how old Elvis is ;)

I was in the USAF from 1994-2002 as a 1C4X1 - TACP.  Standard AF basic at Lackland, tech school at Hurlburt Field, stationed at Ft. Carson, CO and attached at different times to different Army combat units that were based out of Carson (4th ID, 3rd ACR, 10th SFG).

I tried to join the U.S. Marine Corps when I was 17.  Perforated eardrum sent me to get my Master's degree in Business, instead.

At the height of the "Cold War," I wanted to kill me some Russians.

Does that count?
