Went to Boot Camp at Fort Jackson, South Carolina. Training for my mos (military occupational specialty) at Aberdeen Proving Grounds ,Maryland as a diesel mechanic. I spent one year in the reserves before I decided to go full time. My first duty station was in Giessen, Germany. after serving 2 years there, my next duty station was Fort Irwin, California. While there, I had gone to Fort Lewis, Washington for PLDC, (PRIMARY LEADERSHIP DEVELOPEMENT COURSE) to get promoted to sergeant. afterwards, I had gotten ought to pursue another career. Been here the past 2 years, before that 1 year in Korea, 3 years in Mt. Home, Idaho, 5 years in Spangdahlem, Germany, and 1 year at Eglin AFB, FL. Next base will be Tyndall AFB, FL come December. I know we talked about it before but Elvis and my father just missed each other in the same unit in Giessen way back in the day lol. Standard AF basic at Lackland, tech school at Hurlburt Field, stationed at Ft. Carson, CO and attached at different times to different Army combat units that were based out of Carson (4th ID, 3rd ACR, 10th SFG).
