My apps are crashing; games are lagging very time. I was unable to play games on my Windows 10 machine. I don’t know what’s gone wrong with my brand new OS. I tried updating the drivers, check for the latest Windows update, but nothing works. I searched the web and found that disabling some of the services will help you improve the system performance and allow you to play game smoothly. Well here are some of the useful that helped me to diagnose which services are unnecessary and are safe to disable: Sources: http://www.pcerror-fix.com/windows-10-services-to-disable-for-gaming https://support.microsoft.com/en-in/help/15055/windows-7-optimize-windows-better-performance

The mobile version of hardware they use is mostly to save power and extend battery life. Yes windows can be customized for gaming but remember if your hardware is weak then no OS customization will help very much here are a couple of places to look for informationhttps://www.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/windows-10-specifications https://www.zdnet.com/article/will-your-pc-run-windows-10-use-this-well-hidden-compatibility-checker-to-find-out/
 A slow ass 5400rpm laptop hdd makes them run even slower. It will run on a Dual core CPU no problem if you have enough memory. You need atleast 8gb. If you can not upgrade to more memory installing an SSD HDD will help ALOT. Even a 5400rpm laptop harddrive in perfect condition will only have a read speed of about 128MB/s and a write speed of 120MB/s. And Real world performance of around 50/50. Most newer decent quality SSD HDDs are around 540MB/s read 480MB/s +/- write. Here test your HDDs performance with CrystalDiskMark and check your hdd speeds for yourself. It's one of the best free HDD testing utilities out there. http://crystalmark.info/en/download/#CrystalDiskInfo
 Awards

Samsung 970 PRO NVMe drives 3,500MB/s 2700MB/s. Yes they are literally atleast 5x faster than the fastest normal SSD. Because they run off of PCie which has a max bandwidth of 80gbs at 16x. That's 10,000MB/s with a factor of 8. SATA NVMe M.2 SSD has the same read and write speeds as a normal SSD because they still use the SATA controller which is much much Slower. Max speed for a SATA 3 controller is around 620MB/s. PCie M.2 NVMe SSDs will only get faster. It's currently bottle-necked only by the by the speed of the current memory chips on the market today. Even though nothing is running. I've had this issue multiple times with a fresh install and I have 8gig of ram. I was like there's no way that's maxed out right now! So check ctrl, alt, del. Go to performance, and see what everything is running at. If your memory maxed out. It's just a bug. You can fix it in regedit.
 Awards
