1: If the nade already left your hand, according the the game engine, then it is its own entity and continues. If it hasnt, then its considered a cooked nade and drops. Similar to how you can shoot someone that has a tube but you also die because he already got off a round but its still in the air. The player is dead but the grenade doesnt disappear.

2: That might be a little punitive. There is already a bonus if you shoot a player that is 1 short of a streak. Making that relative to how high of a streak it is sounds interesting.

3: Health of the RC is 100 points. But yes if you have stopping power you do more damage. The only weapon that can destroy it in one shot, assuming that perk, is a sniper rifle (standard no-perk damage 70 points). Otherwise, with that perk, two rounds from an AR or LMG will destroy it.

4: Cant do red-dot ping for a single player, game limitation. Also, cant do any icons on the minimap because there are a finite number of those and they are all reserved for frozen players.  Can only do the moneybag icon and because thats basically running around with a big target on your back that everyone can see it should only be used with extreme campers.

i dnt snipe at all...but i dnt think we should put a target on anyones back..i dnt mind dyin 2 3 4 5 times til i finally realize where ur campin ass is...  i dnt stop comin after ya til ur dead.. kinda fun removing campers who dnt think ya know where they r...plus people actin like we got real pros at snipin..rarely do u see  2 tactical nukes in the same map let alone 1..jus dosent happen like that..

AMMO CPS would be sweet if we could keep the goodies until they are gone no matter if round ends or u die..more smaws  more c4 more bettys should be in ammo cp like the explosive arrow is set up (10 rounds for a ammo pack)

an option for more inventory  in trade for ur side arm would be awesome

smaw/tube stats at end of round

a perk for SELF DEFROST for us run and gunners..mayb able to use a car u get frm a killstreak to thaw urself and only urself(car blows up as u respawn)

Apparently you've never played with war dogs. That jerk can snipe and wind up with 2 tacs. Same with Zombie. Seen it done.

Based on the above idea, could make it so that if you shoot someone with a tac nuke you win the round. Of course nothing to stop him from using it the moment he gets it. But still....

Tagging campers could be a problem on some maps. 

What about the maps where you can barely get out of spawn. Like the soccer field map that was in rotation last week. If that was active in that map. Your forced to die trying to get out of spawn or your tagged then everyone sees you and you get shot?

 to force everyone same fps etc.  auto kick scroll wheel,,,,new skins on our weapons,,i can do them if you get me the files,,new skins on bullet packs etc. just need refreshing. team clan skins would be awesome!!

No automatic kick for the scroll wheel exploit possible AFAIK. You can only monitor and kick when seen. However I'm trying out extending firing times for single shot weapons to make them longer. I figure 4-5 rounds per second for a G3 with an itchy trigger finger is plenty. If something faster is desired the M16 is plenty accurate with a fast 3-burst.

Force changing FPS is possible but then they can switch it back with the click of a bind button. So then it becomes who will give up first. Stop forcing it? Or will they stop changing it back? So examining other ideas.

Just for fun thought about adding some kind of minor shock effect when you fire in the air. After all, you arent bracing yourself with your feet on the ground and the power from the gun should push you back. Equal and opposite reaction etc. But Im sure many would cry fowl. What poultry has to do with it I dunno.

I would like the mod to have the ability to set every ones player config the same, everyone has the same max packets, max fps, same foliage settings etc, so like PB use to do just with out the PB issues. Console deactiviert in game for everybody

I would like to see every time someone jump around the Map without climbing a Wall or ladder or  something else , they are turned into a Pink Bunny and can't move several seconds

The Snipers are not  balanced.

In contrast to the many disadvantages, snipers have too few advantages ( for example: why is my Sniper out of Range and the otherone can kill me with a Saric or with a fucking Pistel over the whole map, little ammo, short time to aim, no roundfiew while aiming, aso, aso, aso)

Helmet and Flagjackets

it feels like only 1 out of 5 attacks are working for me

if the combat medic is shorter, we dont need it. Sometimes the difrend is too short

New Spawn protection is Bullshit 

we can walk over the whole map with a semtex in my Hand but the other granate explodes while walking. 

Killstreak is ok

If I mute somebody a Massege should be seen in the game

 

OK.

The mod is perfectly fine for me, I just want to pick ammo back up from dead body's. Because let's face it a fps without ammo that is then like playing hide and seek with instantly dying!?‍♀️

1. I would like RCs to just be able to defrost only.

2. Weapon can not be used when in the air when Bunny hoppin

3. reduce respawn time after using a perk rather than having 5 seconds maybe cut it down to 2 or 3 seconds

Bunny hopping, IMHO, is part of the "root identity" of XI FPS gamers... I think it would be a mistake to fuck with it, personally, in COD4... at least in the "faster" mods like MW2.

I wonder if you put up identical MW2 ftag servers, but just made the ability to shoot while hopping different between servers, which one would get used more.  I would wager the bunny hopping friendly one will always be more popular.

There are PLENTY of "realistic" FPS games out there (including Insurgency).

In conjunction with that, I don't think there should be ANY penalty for someone who camps.  The game is the game - we've been playing it this way for damn near a decade (and we played COD2 this way as well).  I don't think we should make changes that affect any particular playing style.

Is this COD Insurgency? Seriously this mod is only fun because of  all the insane things in it. Become a car, escape away from the heat. If hit registration wasn't an issue I would make a case for bumping up the speed on the server. I remember messing around with speed and gravity settings and not once did anyone leave because "it was so unreal to fly across the map". 

I will say this openly to whomever says neuter the RC, or reduce spawn protection timer, or add more recoil, or increase reload times., or remove bunny hopping !FU sideways, upside down, til you start crying for mommy. There are plenty of other servers that have a flavor of what you are asking for, this server is defined by all these things. 

Changes I would like to see:

- Add a death streak to fart at a passing by enemy when you're frozen

- Soldier skin for women

- Taunts, Unreal style, but with care for the touchy feely types

- If you toss all weapons you should be able to punch enemies both alive and frozen

- When you're in spawn protection your teammates don't block your way, and you can pass thru them but you still bump in to enemies

- If someone has the highest kill streak on-going they get announced as MVT for enemy team, not their location just that they should get attention.

I don't have too many issues with the mod. I do have a hared time with some of the sniper rifles, but I think they should be hard to use. I found a combo that kind of works for me. No match for the sniper folks but I get by.

I would like to see EMPs when tossed on a teammate also do a bit of defrosting of the enemy too. Perhaps not a full defrost but a couple of points anyway.  That will make those frozen jam points a little more interesting on the defrosting side.

Further to the emp thing. If I die while about to toss one and it drops at my feet, I think it should defrost me.

I like being able to defrost a few peeps with the car and then Blow someone up, especially Chile.  

 

Question on the sniper rifles. When I set up my controls, it appears that there is a way to zoom in and zoom out with the scope. Is that true?

I haven't been able to get that to work.

it is kinda funny that after so many years one feels the need to change everyone's favorite server .

and while this is an MW2 style mod   is suposed to be a fun mod  know ideas of balancing and make it realistic  are floating around  so rugger  if the new mod comes out can i convert the BO2 server too the old mw2 mod  so we will have 2 good servers well 3   combined with ft1.

 

i will be happy to  support that and do the weekly rotations .

Easy solution for fps is just set it to 333. Not sure if it is just the mw2 server that does it but setting fps to 0 (unlimited) or above 333 destroys jumping mechanics. F4H have theirs at 300. I usually just leave mine at that seeing as I go in there from time to time.

A radical solution for foilage could be to set lodscale to 4, I honestly doubt most people would notice. Setting maxpackets to 100 is a no brainer and should have been the default setting when the game came out. Some sort of bot like b3 or something similar would be preferable for the foilage issue though.

One small thing I would like is to be able to switch into killstreaks instantaneously or at least have protection from being frozen while switching.

Fix the sniper rifles!!! They are the worst weapons to have. I have shot someone 10 times in a row and not even a hit marker yes someone from the same distance uses the Sar and kills me 1 shot

Its my birthday and *slightly* inebriated. So sorry if I come across more opinionated or harshly than I normally would.

Correction. You shot "at" someone 10 times in a row. You are correct in that sniper rifles take significantly longer to zero in. However they have the scope for longer range and do a lot more damage. Balance. And like I posted earlier the saritch is bugged and over powered in a few areas.

Setting to 333 is an easy solution for you but many people cant handle that. People should set it to a workable value for them.... up to an allowable maximum. PB when active set maximums. There is a reason for that. Its demise doesnt mean that reason went away.  Most servers have a set maximum jump height etc. Including here. On the other hand, does that mean someone should be allowed to go higher than that because they can?

In the end, if someone cant enjoy the game without exploiting then perhaps there is something else wrong that is more significant. You cant jump as high as you want. There is more foliage than you want. You cant lag all over the place. You cant scroll-wheel shoot. Any number of things. Therefore, the game is bad. Explain that one to me again.

 

Regarding for streak protection, as it is some are saying they would like to see the default version where you are visible and without protection. So find a safe location first.

Also could you remove or at least make small or even re-position the 'TEAMS WILL BE AUTO BALANCED NEXT ROUND' text.

I don't know about anyone else but i find it quite annoying when it pops up in the middle of the game especially when your just about to shoot someone and covers your line of sight.  

Another thing regarding the scoring at the end could the MVP be the one who has the most defrosts as that's what the game is about at the end of the day .
