Enabling "Studies" in the options (Firefox Data Collection and Use) allows you to get the small patch that they just released. Click click and restart Firefox. Apon restarting Firefox you will get a small update and everything will work again. It just freezes up and the problem appears to be an uncontrolled appetite for memory and system resources. Even regular cleaning with Ccleaner Pro does not help.
