The fresh-grated parmesan & fennel, along with the sauteed onion & garlic make for an awesome dish, along with the Italian seasoning, Basil & other seasonings. Especially when one- like I, usually- assembles it the day previous and allows it to marinate, mingle, & mellow in the fridge over night before cooking the next day.
