I have a Cooler Master HAF 932 Full Tower. I have had no issues with it. I like that it rolls around on wheels because it is heavy. Scared to upgrade it in case I buy a lemon LOL

@J3st3r

The internet is full of different reviews between AMD and Intel with all kinds of benchmarks (including overclocking).

Most people choose AMD because of the price difference.

AMD makes quality products (in my opinion).

It's a personal opinion/choice to whoever chooses to purchase what they want.

My personal choices are in my pc build:

Manufacturer...........Home built

I knew a gamer that I used to play with and late one night his headset broke and no pc stores open so he went to the dollar store and got ear buds and a desktop mic till he got to the pc store next day. When he came back on his voice was so clear I said holy crap I can hear you better than I did before your headset broke. He told me what he purchased and I was shocked. He used them for 5 years. Not bad for $2 eh?

Good post,  I'm  now  looking for a AMD Ryzen/ motherboard/ ddr4 bundle to go with my new graphices card ?

It's a whole rig, but a decent price for a complete build... minus the peripherals.  Being the GPU is the workhorse, you want the best you can for gaming, so that you're not taxing the cpu & producing a bottleneck on the graphics end of the deal.

I was AMD/ATi for a VERY long time.  Mainly due to cost and being poor.  That has changed.

It's been at least 3 computer builds not, that I have not used either.  I mst say, I'm not saddened in the least.  I have not seen an AMD/ATi combo, outperform an Intel/nVidia combo, in a very long time.  I will put my i5-9600K with my 16GB Ram and nVigia GTX1070 up against the newest AMD/ATi computers, and probably will see mine outperform the other.

I've contemplated going back, but I just couldn't justify it.

ASUS TUF Z390-Pro Gaming motherboard

INTEL Core i5-9600K

Gigabyte GTX 1070 8GB

G-Skill TridentZ RGB 16GB DDR4

Samsung Evo 970 m.2 1TB SSD for programs and boot

WD Black 1TB for storage of games

EVGA 750GQ power supply

Windows 10 Pro 64bit

Over the AMD Ryzen 9 3900x and the intel i9 9900k id choose the AMD Ryzen the only reason I am not doing that is because of the motherboards ability to support, I much prefer the z390 motherboards to the x470/x570

did you get your amd settlement claim form for that 8350.  amd dropped the ball and called them 8 cores instead of 4 core double thread and bc of that the courts have awarded 300usd for every cpu you bought

Apple earpods work awesome for gaming headphones. They are so crisp and clear that you can clearly hear footsteps and someone reloading or spawning close to you in cod4

Oh BTW Don't even bother with the brand new $750+ 16-core and 32-thread Ryzen 3950X that will be available some time this month. The $350 i7 9700K and $470 i9 9900K still smokes it like a blunt in gaming performance.

I will never put an intel into my pc, ever!! I am AMD 100%.

The only reason I have a Nvidia vid card is because at the time I purchased my new pc the Radeon vid card I purchased would not work and when I took it back they did not have a replacement in stock so I had to settle for an Nvidia.

My GPU is a Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1080 Xtreme Gaming 8G bought end of 2016.

OK with it. However, I get more and more freezes, i.e. game crashes (I think that GPU failings are the cause...) when playing on CoD4, having then to disconnect the session and open a new one.
