Dutch Formule 1, will land in the low Dutch 'Holland'next year at the coast.
How crazy this will be. I think a small earth, shake up, on that place.

How one 4:20 at Spa last year race, already was:

Yeah I do!
Did F1 start there?  I know Niki Lauda drove F1 there the last time in "the dunes".

The modern, as we now know it, formula one did indeed start in England with the first event being run at Silverstone, and the vast majority of teams are based there, in the Oxfordshire area mainly. Its forerunner was the European grand prix that blossomed after the second world war, but Bernie Ecclestone is credited into making it the sport you see today. I have been a lifelong motorsports fan but modern formula one racing is in my opinion boring, if you want to see excitement with real danger, and close racing, go to one of the Irish motorcycle road racing events, held on public roads, those boys and girls rock.

Formula one nearly died out in the early 60's and it is sad to see it going the same way, look at how few teams compete now with astronomical costs. I just remember the early Ecclestone days in my teens and the struggles he had to introduce commercialism, which saved the sport in reality. They need to get more teams involved now before fossil fuelled sport dies a natural death in years to come.

I watch all the races and would love to see Max win a few more to break up the MB and Ferrari dominance. I believe there will be some new rules for next year with some changes to the cars. Looking forward to that. They are also going to repave the Austin track which was very bumpy looking this year. Was a good season overall Hamilton deserves the win.  I think Max and Leclerc will be the ones to watch next year. I always give a cheer for Lance Stroll even though Racing Point are usually near the bottom of the list. In the end its all about the money and oh yes the Tires or should I say Tyres.

Great Race in Brazil on the 17th Nov 2019. Max V won, P.Gasly 2nd and C.Sainz 3rd.  Nice to see some new drivers on the podium. The two Ferraries crashed into each other omg what a cock up.  (almost at the end of the race how silly). A. Albon was having a great race when Lewis Hamilton blew him off the track. What a shame. Anyway was a great race lotsa excitement. Final race on Dec 1st in Abu Dhabi UAE. Looking forward to that.

Congrats on the race coming!!  I am beginning to really have some respect for Max and the way he is growing up and maturing behind the wheel.. He is the kind of driver i like to watch.. We are LH fans here at home in the states.. As you saw GG and I had a awesome time at US in Austin..Great access to pits and track before race..  WE are hoping  someday soon go overseas and see another or go to Miami or Canada for theirs.. Hope you get to see it and go..  Have to disagree with @RobMc F1 is growing bigger then ever right now and the racing is getting and better every year. The new cars coming year after next are going to be awesome and create tighter and tighter racing.. . How ever I do like me some TT racing and the British touring car racing which we don't get much coverage here..

You are right in one way, the crowds are there, but to survive there must be cars to race and if you compare it to the past, and other racing, there are pitifully few cars. In fact if the teams were only allowed one car it would not be a great spectacle at all. The costs are simply too great for most manufacturers, when the likes of Honda and Ford do not field teams it is not good for the sport. Although it is and always was the forerunner for technology I hope that is not it's downfall. In my opinion the 'gadgets' need removing to make the drivers more competitive, my favourite car racing is also the British touring cars, really exciting because the drivers not the cars are the stars. It may surprise you that I like Nascar too, I even went to one, those drivers rock.

Just checked, the last full grid in F1 (26 cars) was in 1995, that is not good

An awesome race and sure it goes in the books as in a Classic F1 event.
Not to be biased that Max won, but holy crap, I was on the "tip of my chair" watching it and having sweaty balls.

The top three on podium, indeed what you would never bet on. Gasly, kicked back to the team he drove last year, and Carlos taking the 3rd spot for the McLarens. The first Full Caution was weird, but turned out to be the best show for the fans.  And I knew and felt something was going to happen, but not that LeClerk and Vettel clashed. I thought right away that is going to be others on the podium. And Wtf, Lewis going in with 6 laps to go and dive bombing the poor Albon.

But yes, I am going to download the race and watching that again during the winter break. This year we have had some great races.

For people who wants to watch it, you can re-watch it here and it is worth it!

@ANGU5 your dream holiday next year for the ultimate petrolheads, early july the Goodwood festival of speed, followed by a tour of one of the f1 factories then the British round a Silverstone mid July. Can fit it all in around a fortnight but you must book everything now. All near each other and you can stay near Silverstone.

Don't forget to drive on the right side, the left

Fun Fact;  Why Do the U.S. and Other Countries Drive on the Right Side of the Road?

Although the U.S. was colonized by Britain, people traveling on horseback and by wagon used the right side of the road, according to the Department of Transportation (DOT). By sitting to the left, drivers could better see oncoming travelers and defend themselves when necessary. When Pennsylvania began plans to build a turnpike in 1792, it adopted a law requiring drivers to use the right lane. Soon after, New York legally required drivers to use the right side of all public highways. Every state followed suit by the Civil War, the DOT says.

Right-side travel was further reinforced in 1908 when Henry Ford introduced his popular Model T with the steering wheel on the left side, National Geographic explains, and other auto manufacturers followed the trend. Over the years other countries also adopted right-side travel, often to help facilitate trips across their borders. Canada, for instance, switched from driving in the left lanes in favor of the right to allow easier travel to and from the U.S., the History Channel explains.

Although most countries adopted their respective sides of the roads decades ago, some have switched traffic patterns more recently. Samoa, which previously favored the right side of the road, moved to the left in 2009 to help drivers more easily travel in Australia and New Zealand, which drive on the left. It’s unlikely many other countries will make similar changes due to the costs of changing infrastructure

Yes, I remember Sweden swapping from left to right, about one third of the world drives on the left, before satnav I used to struggle when swapping. We have loads of accidents with tourists forgetting, and I remember one night heading the wrong way near Schipol it ain't easy when you first change.

I've only been once but it's one of the best experiences ever because you can mix with the stars n their cars (Pink Floyd etc), see cars you'll never see again, and watch some great racing, If you did go you could also take in the Motor Museums . I've been to the revival twice because I worked down there but the festival of speed is more for you.
