OMG, those look delicious!!!

I have made bread for years but I use a bread machine. It also makes dough for dinner buns and pizza dough.

I have been experimenting with baking, dinners. Before the quarantine I stocked up my pantry, cupboards, fridge and 2 freezers,

Some of my things were good and some failed (barf) LOL

I tried 2 other recipes. This one I've done twice. This will be my all time go to white bread from now. My wife used to make this bread 30 years ago, we just rediscovered the recipe, and we are stoked at the quality.

I'll be changing it up a bit as well. Sometimes 705 white flour and 30% whole wheat. Sometimes using Red River Cereal, works real well.

The Red River Cereal is a porridge, or hot cereal, made with a blend of cracked wheat, rye, and brown flaxseeds that was first created in 1924 in Manitoba Canada. The cereal takes its name from the Red River of the North, more specifically the valley surrounding Winnipeg.

@Roxy! here is the recipe. The part written in pen is 1/2 the recipe which makes 4 full loaves. The full recipe will make 8 loaves. Enjoy.

Edit; T means table spoon

          t means teaspoon

I make bread too.  I mill my own flour and make honey wheat loaves.  I have been playing around with gathering my own wild yeast.  In fact, I have a jar of old cannabis buds with some water and a little sugar in it that has produced some good yeast water.  I am going to make a levain with it tonight to see how active it is, and if it looks good, I'll try making a loaf with it.   At one point I actually considered planting wheat so I could grow my own wheatberries, but it turns out you need like 100 square feet of wheat to yield enough berries for 10 loaves of bread.  Cheaper and easier to just go to Walmart and buy a 25# bag.

In French, we would say "un polichinelle dans le tiroir" which literally translates as "a polichinelle in the drawer" ?

Is it true @Roxy!?
