My Opinion, This mod is suppose to be different from 1.46 accept the changes and suck it the fuck up.

As for the FX, personally I think they are a cool addition to have. Yes the idea was to give a clue where the other team was being defrosted, *IF* you are paying attention. There are also actually two different sounds and colors, one for each team, so when you do hear it you will know if its friend or foe. However I can see the FX could be a problem if your team is down 15 to 1 or something like that. You could also use it for bait to get them all to rush a particular location and lay in wait for them. Or use it to lure them away. Might actually make for an interesting tactical weapon. A fake defrost with a little bit of weapon fire noise to distract the enemy.

1.46 does have directional audio for freezing/unfreezing. Carries to a distance of 2000 units. That said, sound distance is being adjusted.

Sammy, the novelty of the separate RCs has worn off, could you please bring  back the single RC. 

also, since now people have been stealing my kill streaks when i die in their spawn it's only fair that i have a way to protect myself while turning in to a kill streak. Please bring back the ability to turn in to kill streak mid jump. I so deeply regret sharing these exploits. Had I kept my mouth shut we could've been enjoying defrosting while in predator other things you killed. Sob sob. Fuck fairness and openness.

Oh dont kid yourself. I would have eventually figured it out when specing all of you to see how its all working. Which I do. Soon as I see something unexpected I think 'WTF was that???'  ?

The dual cars is not a novelty but a way to adjust an overpowered 3-kill streak weapon (usually two since hardline is common). Also to make it line with similar streak items. Two UAVs. Two sentries. Two B2's.

I remembered: doDecoySounds( owner, position ). It was a variant of an EMP.

Heist should be fair for all. It should be hard to do, like hacking, but also shouldnt overwhelm the frozen player with thieves taking everything. Like other things its open to adjustments if this is not the case.

Laughing cos everyone wants something changing back to as it was/suits them, forgetting the whole point in that it was always to be different by being fairer. On that subject Sammy I'm still waiting for the ' blow Sharpe to smithereens when he spawns perk', taking a long time?

But I am curious, what really is Soo bad about being able to enter kill streak with a slight feet lift at the last second. 

If the car is over powered at two kills, make it 4/3(Hardline). Separating RC functions is a regression IMO. Why does it have to be the same as sentries? Actually, now that you mention it, why don't you merge them too. 8-kill multi function sentry gun or sentry made. Sentry nade only kills and sentry gun does both, defrost and kill, except it has less range. You already made the car slower, there's trophy system to balance things out.  Also, speaking of fairness then artillery hogs the airspace for 30 seconds, covers a wider range of the map, requires a special defensive weapon to counter, shakes your entire screen, easily available at 6/5 kills. That’s what’s it’s leading to, fewer players are venturing out because most others are starting to use Heist. It’s fun but like hardline it’s going to become the most used perk.

No fun with Heist. Players with killstreaks are gonna wait and camp instead of move forwards. 3 killstreaks stolen yesterday after being killed, trying to go through the enemy line. So now it's : get killstreaks n use its directly OR camp with it? where's the strategy?

Yesterday, after a crash trying to get into the server (cause of CI on my side of the internet I guess), I got that error "an error occured when reading the stats data. your stats have been reset".

Is that relatived or it's just a error on my computer? I never had this one before.

Many players are campers anyway because they want the streaks in the first place.

The thing to do is figure out possibilities to make it fair for all. I have heard the opposite saying that it is 'too hard' to use. Who is right and who is wrong? Objectively.

A little torn on the first to 3 rather than 5. It's nice to be able to play more maps in a night but some of them seem a little short. I know it was set to first to 4 on the third version before it was reset, so would like to see that tried again on the next update.

Someone mentioned something last night I had noticed as well - spare guns sometimes float in mid air now rather than dropping to the ground.

A few of us discussed combat medic briefly as well, not sure what the plan is there. Don't use it much myself anymore but  there isn't much point in having it if it only gives you another 2 seconds, would be better just replaced with something else at that point.

They all float. Another one of those UT4K throwbacks. The first game I played a freezetag mod. First to actually have it, I think.

Combat Medic time will be adjusted. Will change number of rounds this evening to 4.

As for the idea about the defroster car, many have already been doing exactly that to defeat the jammers. They would do the same here if added and not much point in having specific offensive and defensive cars.

Having 3 killstreaks and waiting the good moment, but getting killed and robbed the 3 killstreaks in 10 secs... Fair for who?

I didn't understand your last sentence.Too hard to use what? the new killstreak?

The pred is certainly hard, but i don't see the point between heist and the way to use a killstreak.

 

Given at least 10sec after the death, before get stolen ?

I'm not sure if its been mentioned. But. noticed that Bettys do not disappear after you die. BoomBoom killed me ealier and I was dead a good 20 30 seconds, then my betty killed him as he walked away.

As for Heist... sorry but its not going away. However, it *will* be adjusted to make it another fun little bit of chaos but also not unfair. A person with 3 streaks... possibly 4... should not be gang raped and have them all stolen by the enemy team. Which in itself is a comment about teamwork and its good to see. This does mean for some it works if players get something out of it not just helping the team. ?

As for the splash screen, I just got tired of the same ol same ol boring soldier images. Everybody does that. Oh and why are all the usual video game soldier images from cod/bf/moh men? No love for women soldiers? ?

Most of the image itself on map load comes from the maps themselves. Maps missing the load screen show the grey checkerboard. The girl, along with the 'activision', 'esrb', etc ones are overlays.
