@Sammy Someone deployed a fresh Sentry Nade and I shot it with my assault rifle and it blew up after the 2nd bullet hit it. I was extremely happy that it blew up so easy but that needs looked into.

Were you using a sniper rifle? Possibly with stopping power or armor piercing?

Heist
IMHO, Heist would be Heist if its being stolen from someone alive. It's easy to steal from a frozen, defenseless enemy. Feels more like COD version of rape, you just sit there and helplessly watch it happen. Make it so you have to sneak up to an enemy to a certain close proximity for 1-2 seconds stealing their killstreaks. Then, perhaps you don't lose your stolen KS even if you get killed. Or you know what, make it so that if you have the Heist perk, and you're frozen others can't Heist you, how about that?

Kill Power
I don't understand why there is so much bias against offensive weapons and kill power. RCXDs are too powerful, tubes kill too easily, blah blah. Trophy system is excellent, albeit somewhat OP. It's still sensible than that OP flak jacket. How about a perk that makes explosive Inventory weapons deadly even against Trophy and flak jackets? Why isn't there any thought towards balancing it out that way?  The SMR was great when you first launched v1.47, hardcore felt like hardcore no more BS of multiple hit markers.  Pistols are nerfed. Close range Deagle shot only gave me a X, its a fucking .50 cal at approx 20ft. You can say they were wearing armor, I cannot prove otherwise, but I do not think people put even put on armor anymore. 

Multipurpose
If we optimize the killstreaks, get 2-in-1 functionality you can make room for more stuff. I just don't get why in the name or fairness and balances do we keep nerfing things. I still haven't gotten a reasonable answer about what was so wrong about being able to defrost from a predator/paveway, slow the rate of defrost. Yes you have a defroster UAV which is more efficient at it, and that's what makes it more desirable. Why are we trying to make this game so binary, you either choose to be a defroster or strictly only a killer the middle ground is simply vanishing. You cannot even run and gun much because your killstreaks don't stay. Yes, I do remember the days when we only had 1 slot for killstreak. Now, what's even the point when they can be so easily taken from you.

Here's the simply truth as I see it, this is not a tactical game. Majority of the server population comprises of gamers who are really not as good as they think. People have improved significantly but many of them still don't pay attention. I am barely average and have shitty aim that's why I use tubes. Killstreaks are instant gratification and that dopamine drip has worked really well. I hope I don't sound ungrateful as I only mentioned, what appear to be, thoughts/opinions with a negative tint. This was a much needed refresher mod on this aging game.

Paveway... wow that was a long time ago. And still hearing about predator defrosts after years. My god, man... years.

That is a pretty good idea for Heist.  Either that or limit it to a maximum of one loss if you are frozen so they dont all gang up on you.

As for adding more stuff, I am trying to keep things down so as not to hurt map compatibility as much as possible. Every new model increases the likelihood of out of memory errors. Every new image the 2400 error. And so on. Still working to improve both as it is not to increase them.

Do you mean Sonic Boom? I meant... like a Perk where your SMAW, Tube,  RPG fucks up the Trophy system or Flak jacket. Right now it would take 4-5 tubes to blow up someone with Flak Jacket. I think its a fair trade off, that I give up a perk to get more Oomph out of my boOooOoooom ?.

I know the mod is still being tested but the original server has now drifted to rank 40 from a high of 11 last month and the 1.47 is up to rank 62. Might be an idea to rename the new/test server to freezetag at least from tdm.

Is it time for a new rotation as well? Don't know if these maps are being specifically tested.

Hello guys how's everyone ?

I have some suggestions and fixes, pros and cons for the new 1.47 Mod. I had this post on another topic, didn't know this one was already up. v

1- There should be only one RCXD;  a killer, Thawing or a combination of both

2- The color tracer on nades should be off

3- The Thawing effect should be off, ,when you are next to the person you thawed the effect blinds you

4- you can't hear when a RCXD is near you

5- The EMP nades don't defrost two people right next to each other, just one of them

6- RCXD's are very Slow

7- When you use a RCXD you lose your Clays

8-  When using a heavy machine gun  and the grip attachment you cant have nades, you could in the older Mod

9- The sound of the Artillery is hideous

10- Having different keys for defrost and use -EXCELLENT!!

11- There are too many unnecessary sounds and color effects

12- The RCXD are indestructible, Should be a little weaker

13- When you reach the no-respawn period at the end of the round you can see the location of the enemy without them shooting.

Agree with you, many effects affect the way you hear or see things. And the rc is slower than people running, so it's pretty useless lol ^^

The sound is extra important to me because I'm almost blind. so unnecessary noise makes it difficult for me to play. Also colors that blend together do not make it easier for me. But I love that something new is being tried. Thanks for that sammy

Explosive RC doesn't blow up the thawing RC, WHY?   If the last person on the other team changes to a thawing RC and I have an explosive RC, I can't blow them up to keep them from thawing their team?

Anyways, dealing with a pesky bug but for Heist going to add two things and monitor the results. The player with the perk can only use it once in that life. The other is that for the frozen player once one is taken that's it until the next defrost/death.

BOOOOO!  ? I suppose actually that is pretty fair though.

Could you put a few more seconds on before the start of the game?  Several folks have commented that it's too quick and they are still loading when the game starts between maps.

Just a question. I get my predator "intercepted" during his course, the game said. what is the trick to do that?

predator, reaper, paveway seems the trophy system stops anything that comes from the air. It even intercepted my mini nuke (didn't know that was possible) they still died due to radiation but no boom.

Also if possible to prioritize the fact that going into a killstreak clears ur inventory, claymores, trophy system, betty's the second u go in a car/predator/paveway/reaper/duke nukem Its all gone, tested it out on multiple maps with all possible killstreaks. It just clears it all.

Also Duke nukem is Slow as hell and is basicly as easy to kill as any other person. 1 headshot and was dead from a normal gun with no armor penetration.

Will be no more headshot damage for Duke. Just normal.  No the trophy didn't intercept the mini nuke. Well, unless something weird happened. All valid targets 'announce' so to speak to the level that it was fired. The mini nuke isn't one of them. Same with the smartbomb.

The CoD trophy system intercepts all projectiles. Always has. Including from streaks.
