Don't know if this has been said before, but when the artillery kills someone it shows a picture of a trophy system in the kill feed. As if you killed someone with a trophy system.

Seen just now on mp_docks_n : an enemy, that was frozen, but didn't have a bubble. He was just standing there, without a bubble. He got frozen while climbing up a ladder. Couldn't take a screenshot

I had reported this issue already about a teammate, on another map, who was frozen but whose bubble I couldn't see. I hadn't seen how he got frozen, but it may very well have been while he was climbing a ladder. He was frozen at (or close to) the top of a ladder, that much I remember.

 

EDIT: seen right after posting this: another frozen guy, at the top of a ladder, without a bubble on him, but his bubble was on the ground below him. I don't remember that the other 2 guys I mentioned above had their bubble below them, but I can't say 100%.

ok ... all guns is  bs, pistols is big BS

if I still have to pull 3 magazines to kill someone ,give me 10 bullet magazines and  if i used rapid fire, give me 20

stopping power = worthless

when they shoot with a gun they move  even if I use red dot   (asalt class)

when you only make a good weapon, everyone will play with this weapon -- why don't you do them all  good?

 for kill RC i need 2 pistol clips . and i have 4 )

you never promoted sniper rifles ,maybe someone wants to play with this weapon ,even if it is a normal map

Sniper  50 cal-  3 clips for  to hit something  (steady aim worthless)

you can't collect bullets  than from a weapon similar to yours

extremely many atomic bombs    in packages ( look in the server logs)                             Saturday      on each map   1, even 2 nukes  omfg

 

I'm not saying anything about the change perks  ,I talked in vain for 3 years   .........

 

 

I prefer to go back to play other games  than to get angry here...  cya  ..next year

@SammyIs that something new, as far as a Trophy expiring after 3 rounds? Can you pick it up and reset it for another 3? I had an AGM several days ago and someone on a roof had a Trophy set up...I fired 5 missiles at them and all of them were blocked. Is it possible another person had a trophy nearby and the roof guy received protection from both his and their Trophy?

Yea I know about the bubble problem. I was hoping it was fixed yesterday but I saw once or twice where the ice icon as still there. Plz bear with me I am working on it. That one is getting frustrating because all the testing I do shows that it works properly.

For the bubble, did he climb to the top of the ladder? Or was he already there? That is also an old problem.

3 rounds for the trophy. It should then self destruct.  But if its not, goes on the list of things to check out.

Weapons that are similar for ammo pickup do not apply to different attachments. It has been this way from day 1 of the games release.

Pistols should behave normally now. Bug.

As for tac nukes, before the big complaint was that it wasnt offered ENOUGH. Just cant win. Anyways, removing the non-lethal stuff that people complained about meant balances and weights are different. So likely need adjustment.

I'm pretty sure (not 100%, but close) that the 1st one I mentioned got frozen while climbing the ladder. Yet I was seeing him standing on the platform above the ladder, so I would assume that his body finished the climb after he got frozen.

For that matter, I did see a "body" climb a ladder on another map. I have no idea if "his" bubble was at the bottom of the ladder or not, I couldn't see from where I was, but the bubble-less body was climbing the ladder - and a teammate did confirm that he was actually frozen.

 

I unfortunately didn't see the other two guys I mentioned get frozen, I just saw their bubble-less body.

Only thing I have noticed is once setting up all my keybinds every so often they will get dropped mostly my team thawing key bind and my pick up dropped weapon bind. other than that no issues really noted.

Sammy, the mod was great to be honest when is was still being tested only a few minor issues that you had been working. Every since the move to the main server and all the changes trying to please the cry babies it seems so much worse. Was just in the server with sentry nade after sentry nade and like 4 or 5 mini nukes in a row. So if ppl hate the trohpy sytem this is why they hate it, because it works great( Hate that it is limited now). It seems that Sentry Gun and Nade kills are counting towards a Tac Nuke is that suppose to?

hey there sammy,

just wondering if it is supposed to be that if you use stealth it wont work if you run?
whenever i crouch/walk past a Betty or claymore it does nothing, but when you run it goes off and you also get a error message in the left bottom corner of the screen,

error code says: player.issprinting is 0 and perk is 1

btw the kills that a kill streak makes is not only counting towards a nuke but to everything.

For the betty+stealth, that is an old option put in quite awhile ago. If you have stealth, and you walk past the betty, it wont go off. You can stand right on top of it and dont have to crouch or go prone. If however you are running it will go off, but with the detection radius cut in 1/2. The one exception to this rule are hacked betties where stealth does not apply.

No, killstreaks are not supposed to count. Will see whats up with that. Some internal weapon names are different from before so perhaps something got missed.

Frozen players and ladders is an old issue that has been around forever. Also mantling.

These are 6 people, 7 including myself that have made posts about the guns after the latest update a few nights ago. I've also discussed this in server with a few others such as @@Tron, @chewonmysax to name a few. You were condescending to me in your previous reply and ignored most of my post, and then ignored my next post entirely. I appreciate you said you were having a bad day the other night so I will try again.

We do not have the same information on the guns available to us that you do. Saying a guns settings are incorrect means nothing to us. I asked you to provide more information on gun settings to provide more context but I don't see a response. The only thing that we can go off of is our previous experience with the guns/settings from the old mod, other mods from cod4 and the stock version. These guns/settings are now harder to play with, and take more shots to kill than in the previous mod. You being the creator of the new mod decided to do this. Quite a number of us have now expressed an interest in trying some more accurate/deadly guns/settings, or bringing back previous guns/settings that were more accurate/deadly. This isn't about number of kills and who is best, that won't change much as everyone has the same guns/settings available to them. This is purely about fun. For the 1.46 mod the saritch and saw were the most accurate/deadly and the guns used by most people. My previous suggestion, now also suggested by @google is to make more guns that are on a par with these guns available.

I appreciate that there must be a ton of work involved in creating/altering/updating a new mod, and perhaps it can be vexing to you after putting a lot of work in that people disparage certain things. I don't know why it was decided or by who however that we actually needed a new mod, considering we have server that has been in the top 10 for most of the last year. Sometimes a fresh coat of paint isn't a bad thing though. 

If there were a bunch of people in here praising how awesome the guns/settings were then I would just have to accept that people loved them. That is not what I am reading. This whole process is supposed to be about tweaking the mod and getting it just right. Without more evidence and context, just because you say a setting is incorrect, doesn't make it so. Several people have now voiced concern that the guns aren't quite right. So let's tweak them either back to what they were or try something different.

BTW... yes a few setting for one of the MK46/SAW options were incorrect making it too easy to use... especially spamming... and will be fixed. The others behave normally.

@Sammy Could you look at the SAM Turret? My own SAM Turret might have shot down my Predator Missile. Also, the SAM Turret struggles against UAV Recons. It seems to hit a ceiling or miss a lot. I watched six missiles miss a UAV yesterday. Also, when my SAM Turret is shooting something, the following message is spammed: "DP: target visible!"

Also, I like to use the Smoke grenades, not the nova gas. Is there a reason why the Trophy Systems block smoke grenades? I just want to run by and not get shot.

My opinion after coming back to COD4 after more than 5 years and only having a few weeks with what is now the old mod - everything feels weak in the newest mod. Every gun even the machine guns. I thought Sharpe had a good point above. Why not share some data on what gun damage is like? We can only really go off 'feelings' and know that it takes 2, 3, or more bullets to kill anyone. What should it be? Should the weapons kill you if it hits the torso? Does the gun matter? Without any data we can only give you these rough feelings.
