Ok I'm hoping someone can help me with this , I have a Motorola G7 Play and my provider is Straight talk which runs off from Verizon towers , A couple days ago Motorola did some sort of update and everything is working perfectly except I can't make or receive a call thru the network .... I can however make a call thru Facebook messenger , I can receive texts and emails , So this tells me that it's some setting that got screwed up but I however do not have a clue as to how to fix it ... any ideas ????   Thanks

Maybe call your provider they should know.

Thanks for the advice but the problem with that is the provider is thru Walmart and most of the people who I would have to deal with worked at McDonald's the day before lmao ..... I've been on Straight talks website talking to them and got 2 different answers  , one answer was the towers were having issues and that the problem would be fixed by 6pm that night and I thought that sounded like a load of BS and it was because 2 days have passed and I still have the same issue , the second answer was my sim card is not working and I need a new one , that sounds more logical to me and i'm going to do that today ....

Maz try restoring to factory settings and go from there, you need to make a note of your numbers first

More than likely the APN settings got set to default, the new sim card should restore those or you can try to restore yourself; https://apn.gishan.net/en/apn/straight-talk/motorola-moto-g7-play#apnset-0
