OK............I think this may be the place to post this ....or to get redirected to the right place.

Been Playing COD WAW on the server for some time now.   Have built up perks and load-outs on two of the main servers for it........all of a sudden this evening, I find that one still has my perks and stuff and the other has dropped everything that was built up..........right back to basic start.

Wondering if this is something common?

How to fix it.   If it means going through the whole process again.............I'm not going to waste my time.

Anyone got a clue???

Didi you lost just the names or really all your attachments,

Cause it happened to me when i played on Zombie servers and when a came back on DM or FT server i lost the custom names i put . but i still had  my load outs setted.

but one good thing to do is make back up of your profile.

You go in local disc then in files:

users/home/appdata/local/activision/codwaw/players/(your game name).

under your player  save all the stuff there then you can copy in this same folder when you loose your stuff.

It helped a few times when my old pc crashed often.

Well, trying to follow the advice.

Not very successfully.  I guess I'm not looking in the right place for the hidden files advice.

One admin that was on said to play the game for a few minutes and the stuff would come back..............played through three cycles and still no change.

If simply playing on the server brings about a correction, I'll try it a while longer.

But if I have to go through the whole thing to regain stuff,  then I'll have to give it up.  In the earlier CODS I knew how to replace the documents that contained the profile.........but Windows 10 and the WAW are more frustrating than I'm very interested in putting up with.

Osage, the mod that was DM2 was changed out for DM3 as the settings are the same as DM1.  If you never played DM3 when it was running before, you should still rank up to unlock all weapons.

In Win 10 type hidden files in search bar, in results go down to explorer and click on hidden files column, follow instructions, without this you won't see anything.

To show hidden files and folders in w10

Right click on desktop and click on Personalize

In the box at the top type in hidden files and folders

A drop down box will show

Click on show hidden files and folders

Select the View tab at the top

Do you have a physical disk of COD W@W or is it from steam?

What version of w10 do you have ( home, pro, etc )?

Physical disk and Win 10 Home.

So what I'm reading is that the mod that WAS on the 3rd server has been moved to the 2nd server and that caused the change?

But if I played on what was server 3, I should go back there and play and things will reset?

I've got a backup profile that I did before moving to WIN 10.  But I do not see the "MAIN" file in the hidden files in order to swap it in.

What is interesting is that my profile shows the four star and next prestige ranking as if all the buildup was ok...............but the loadouts don't allow anything but the lowest ranking loadouts...................no reticle for the Thompson, no grip for the shotgun, none of the loadouts for tanks,  etc.

In the search box top right type profile and press enter, go through them until you find explanation, save typing it out again, every server has a different mod which is loaded before you play, nothing to do with your profile.

Thanks for the various inputs and attempts to help from several folks.

I appreciate the input. Things seem to be back to the right settings now.

So, I can carry on whiling away my time.  LOL

Again, thanks.

In my version of w10 my profile file is here:

C Drive/Users/your named file/App Data/Local/Activision/CoDWaW/players/profiles

If yours is not then I suggest typing in Activision in the search box when you open C Drive.
