And if they say that there is a working vaccine and there is almost no chance of severe side-effects, I believe them. You know who i don't believe? The bunker-building, apocalypse preparing, conspiracy theorists that call us all "sheep" and "brainwashed by the government". F*ck me... the scariest part about it is that they actually believe what they are saying.  

I do understand if you don't want to be among the first to get the vaccine. Just wait a bit and see that it works and then get one too. There will be plenty of people like me that won't mind being the first. 

And now back to the gaming topics, the only thing that gets me trough this covid shit.

I wonder if you look at the history books about events that changed the worlds way of life what they talked about. Collera the plague any war small or big . Any time something along those lines happened it was so far worse than what we have right now. We are lucky to have the governments (yes some lot as good as others but still) the intelligent people working to make this be as harmless as possible. All i've been asked to do is wear a mask, stay 6 feet apart from people whenever I can wash my hands often. When a vaccine becomes available and we will have more than one to choose from please try it. Compare that to what has happened in the past it is so trivial . And its my belief all that will happen if you refuse the vaccine is you will not be allowed to play with others possibly  not allowed to go to large events such as footybal , concerts attend schools ect. And I agree with that. People want there safety guaranteed these days and if somebody of their free will chooses not to allow that freedom by refusing the vaccine what gives them the right to endanger other people ?  What I can say for sure is anybody who in the past has lived through a similar event would hang their head in shame in how todays world is so full of little babies who do not give a rats back side about their neighbours. Suck it up world were almost through this thing and yes its taking its sweet time but most of us are working at it. 

 P.S. I still can not believe as a Canadian that some Canadians believe Canada is building internment camps to imprison people who do not take the vaccine. How sad is there lives to actually believe that would happen in Canada. How little they think of themselves to believe such crap.

Sorry to burst your bubble but there is no such thing as guaranteed safety. Life is inherently risky. This authoritarian utopia you describe where peoples freedoms are curtailed if they choose to exercise their bodily autonomy sounds like an Orwellian nightmare.

I had not, but now i have. Looks a bit like the approach Sweden took. 

For the most part i see that this strategy would make sense. But i highly doubt it it would be executable. It also doesn't go very in debth on how the vulnurable would be protected (or am i missing something?). I do agree that it might have been a better option but it won't be implemented now anyways because of politics. A change of strategy with all this "a vaccine is almost ready" in the news is just not happening. 

Oh well let's just hope that it'll all be over within 6 months. We'll have to deal with the long-term public health problems when they arrive.

Guys it's true we are limiting our freedom (going out, having fun, seeing our dear family members), but if we do this we give the freedom to others to live, and let's not forget that because of this damn COVID-19 many will die for not having treatment due to full hospitals and stressed doctors, what it costs us to respect 2 small rules for the good of all.

I never said it was guaranteed I said people want it guaranteed.  Let's look at some freedom removed for societies sake.  We can't walk around naked it offends some distracts others. Yet it's there body to do with as they please na na they say. Your garbage it is your garbage we hope. But you can not really do what you this with it. For societies security you must follow your goverments guide lines and proberly dispose of it.  You can not just toss your shit on your property as you see fit. You can see where this is going. Goverments make laws rules guidlines to protect people. Removing people rights to protect other people is the nightmare we all happily live in now. All you need o guess is 50.1 % of some people's approval to remove 49.9 % of somebody's rights. Democracy is hard and to be honest not always right. Every time a politician or person with power says they will not bring forth that issue in a governing bodies house they are in fact removing your right to speak on that issue towards your concerns of any given problem.after all did you not vote for them to soeak for you ? Not the best way to deal with people and tgere issues but it does in the end kinda work well or in my opion better than most otger choices.
