New Ryzen chips beat top of the line intel right now I would tell her to wait until the new 5000 chips are in stock if you don't have it already. She needs the cores because of streaming and you WILL NOT get the same multitasking performance on intel chips. Also have 32 GB of ram or more and make sure to have m.2 NVME for OS and SSDs for games. Since she will be streaming a 4 TB HDD for storing stream clips and videos is good too.

Big overkill with power supply. She should be fine with a 500w power supply. Unless you're putting a 3090 in there haha

Nah 650 is the better option with the specs we have been recommending. Having too much is not necessarily better but having too little will cause more problems than not.

It is better to have more than not enough.
She is going to be streaming videos etc so a good psu is a good thing.
I have an 850 watt turbo psu. I needed it for animations and videos I make. If I was streaming I would def want to upgrade to a 1000 watt psu.

a 1000 watt  PSU depends on other hardware like dual CPU, raid set-up. and GPU's. yes better to have more then needed like  phone charging is hard on PSU and has room for accessorys .

ever heard of low voltage burn  when system is saturated with load  will cause extra heat on conpoenets shorting its life  like audio, USB and NIC's failures  will happen

There are a bunch of power supply calculator web sites that you can go to and it will ask what things your system has or will have it in.  Then it gives a recommendation of what size you need.  I've used them, take a average and then add 200 watts or so for future upgrades.

It told me 433 watt. I got an 850 turbo. I'm good for years to come on my psu. I have had it for about 10 years so far.

When it comes to power supply's get more than you think you need for future upgrades, if you are like me and tie wrap all the cables its a pain in that butt to cut them all of again just to upgrade the power supply.

When looking at M.2 NVME drives AMD has pci-e 4.0 which is faster for storage drives than 3.0.

Intel is suppose to launch pci-e 4.0 next year to compete with AMD.

AMD has made great strides to improve gaming on a single core which Intel had bragging rights up till now.

Make sure the chip and board you get can work without a bios update, or you will need to update the bios first which is not that easy sometimes.
