Rotation has been set to random so with the restarts, the same maps won't start and be played all over.  Will get more maps in this weekend.

Thanks Merlin,

I've really enjoyed playing this new OW server. The older weapons seem to support a more varied game play than the Vietnam server. You really have to think about which weapons will be more useful for each map.

Merlin can you remove Siegfreid(sp?) from the rotation?  Consistently calling votes to rotate it. The Map generates artillery that shakes your screen for most of the map.  Unless there is a setting to toggle those effects off.

Hey Raisin, I'll see if it's possible to disable those affects but thinking not as it's an effect the mapper would have put in.  For now, I'll remove it and mark to take a look.

The lethality index of the weapons in this mod is lower than in Vietnam.

Would it be possible to put the same lethality as the vietnam mod?

I noticed that too, indeed ! Honestly though and it's my personal opinion, I kinda like it because it makes it different (also a nice change of pace) from the Vietnam server and you have to try to aim more for the head or just focus more in the game and "adapt" to this new mod... and then you find your way of what fits you the best. In some ways, it already looks a lot like the Vietnam server in my opinion, which is good I think ! :D  (except that I miss my M16 too @Mazdarati ! lol).

Those who always use heavy weapons may not have noticed, but I almost always use the svt-40 and here the change is very evident. In Vietnam 90% of the time a single shot was enough, now in this openwarfare mod 90% I need 2 shots, and sometimes even 3. I personally hate that and would rather go back to Vietnam, but obviously I'll be where the bulk of the people are.

Another thing I don't like is the hit indicator when you take a good shot, this is a big drawback when you get shot through a wall, a great and unrealistic snitch.

I did ask about the hit marker in here previously but only got one reply.  If people don't like the hit marker, can remove it and see how it goes.  As for the weapon power, part of that is the mod, but can make some changes if people agree weapon power is too low but would also be unrealistic for a one shot kill by shooting someone in the foot.

That all said, the intent of this mod was not to completely replicate NamFT and it's settings (I've carried over some but the mods are different so the settings too don't behave the same) but to be a change and allow for us to play maps that we can not play on the Nam mod.

for a medium player like me ,the SVT on vietnam mod was a joke it was more power than other snipping rifle.

On OW i can survie a bit longer LOL

Not that the SVT had more power than a Sniper Rifle, it was that all weapons were set up for maximum lethality.

I vote to put the same lethality as in Vietnam and eliminate the impact indicator, but I am not a member of the clan, I dont think that my vote is worth anything but I leave my opinion there in case someone second it.

oh there is a map,,dont know tha name,,train and river on one side huge mountains on the other side,,great map,,very one sided,,but whe team spawns in the mountain area half the time the map is crooked,,its really weird,,feels like your walking drunk or something,,what would cause this??
