I can't believe it's this big now and the scale on which some of these games are played....you have sniper specific guns, grenades(I have yet to see a decent design) but trip mines, smoke and flash grenades,as you will see ,even claymore mines that throw out 22 paint balls, magazine fed fully auto guns and of course semi auto and communication systems just plain crazy and fucking awesome....watch these videos and how serious these guys are !! ...there is a 3 day event the weekend after Easter in French Lick Indiana, that I will be attending(Magfed only)...can't wait....

what time is it boys AND girls ?..... It's killin" Time !! :2guns:

My son plays paintball semi-professionally and competes internationally.  Been playing it for years.

Speedball only.  He will play woodsball for fun on rare occasions.  But he is super competitive.  This is a picture of his team in at the European World Cup in Amsterdam last year playing for Baltimore Nasty  It was more like a Mud Bowl.  My son is in the middle.  I used to be a professional paintball photographer for Paintball Sports Magazine.  That was a lot of fun...until they went under.

@Streetcleaner...last time I checked the paint balls are still the same size, bout a half inch in diameter.  They didn't get any bigger, not that I can tell.  Unless you live in Texas, cause as we all know EVERYTHING is bigger there!  Maybe these are Texan balls? Ya think?

I played Tourneys for most of the 90s. (showing my age) We were a very solid amateur team. Seeing there was only about 16 or so pro teams back then and I think we were better than 3 or 4 of them at least. We beat a few at tourneys and scrimmaging. What years were you shooting for Paintball Sports? I played for Ohio Xtreme in the mid 90s. We won the 5 man Zapp International Ametuer Open in 95 I believe. That was  our biggest win tourney win. Love the sport still.

I shot for Paintball Sports Magazine from 2005 to 2009.  I covered mostly PSP events nationwide and one NXL tournament in Virginia.  I also covered many celebrity charity paintball events like the Ray Lewis (of the Baltimore Ravens) tournament.

Not sure if you know who Bea Paxson is, but I worked for her.  Good friends with her and her husband Mike who played for the Ironmen.  Got to know many of the pros at that time, Ollie Lang, Alex Fraige, Nicky Cuba, Todd Matrinez.  My son remains good friends with Todd.

Here's a few of the many photos I had published

Very cool. Ollie was an incredible player. Met Bob Long, Youngblood and a few others in the 92 World Cup in NY, Our bracket was Brutal there but was an awesome time. I'm the 2nd from the far left on the bottom row. More hair, less grey, less fat in that pic lol.
