I keep getting this and Windows Defender simply cannot seem to take care of it for me. I looked on line but no one seems to speak in laymans terms anymore so I decided to see if my super idiots can help me!

I have done both of these yet Defender is still saying these exist on my pc somewhere. I just finished Hitman pro and it found only tracking cookies. Now what?

What if I could locate them and manually delete them?

just run Malwarebytes in safe mode , then reboot should be all you need to do.

AutoKMS is typically a windows verification tool for pirate copies of Windows or MS Office that every so often tries to make Microsoft think the copy/version you are using is legit. I wouldn't say its a virus in the sense but saying that you would understand why anti viruses would say that it is (depends what software the AutoKMS is attached to ofc)

Most people who have the KMS installed themselves typically exclude it from antiviruses and everything is good.

Question is, did you have your PC/windows installed by someone else or was it preinstalled?

A quick search of the following trojan above is linked to a Diablo game mod or something

Question as it has been years for me but I remember having to uninstall malwarebytes and then side load it back from a thumb drive in safe mode to get the virus/malware off the pc...Is this something that others have done ?

If it's an old machine you aren't using why not just format it and reinstall windows?

My Windows 10 was preinstalled at the assembly plant. I don't even have or ever had Diablo and probably never will.

It's a brand new machine that I just changed the power supply and vc. The old pc is sitting on the floor under the table.
