I have the Arctis 7 they are great for these OLD EARS! I use them wireless or wired I can't tell the difference in quality either way. Some times they're too good, some peeps I don't want to hear! You know the HEAVY BREATHERS!

Upon reflection I have no idea if the are working wireless when I have them plugged in. I run them plugged in quite a bit. I also have never tried and figure out how long the batteries last.

Running a wired Voltedge TX-40, bass is nice, but I recommend spending more money for comfort & fidelity.

If one is going to spend a couple thousand on a computer, not including all the software, dont cheap out on something that is less than one inch from the ears for hours at a time. Also depends on how much music is a factor. Something can sound great at games but lack good fidelity for music... assuming you listen to something other than 128 mp3s and use something better than onboard realtek. So might want to budget for one of each.

Also do some research, and make your own decision, how much these 5.1/7.1 headphones actually do that. Some swear by it. But blind tests, figuratively and actually, more often than not show people cant tell the difference. Otherwise you can look for traditional that place the extra effort and money into better left and right alone.

I use the Logitech G935.

A little bulky. But once their on and I'm getting into the game or some music. I barley notice they are on. Pretty comfortable and great sound.

They are wireless.. I can literally go anywhere in the house and still have a good connection. Half of the time I go outside while gaming and smoke with no issues. - Or you can plug them with the auxiliary and USB cords that is provided.

You can also download Logitech G Hub for a compatible equalizer and lighting adjustment.

The mic is so so.. but I hardly talk anyways. Lol

I have Turtle Bay Elite Atlas Aero wireless and it is incredible.  I get about 15-17 hours of playtime before they need recharging.

I use the Razor Kraken wired headset with DTS Ultra software. They are super comfortable and are awesome for gaming and music.
