I know I am beginning to sound like a broken recording but I am getting desperate! I got my new SSD hard drive and installed it. I then installed Windows 10 Pro because that is what I have on this one. I am doing this because of the virus I got from somewhere that I simply can't get rid of. So I went to connect to the internet and the one option I have here is WIFI doesn't show in the options. I am stumped and need some good advice on how to set it up and turn it on. I also need to set up my sound where it recognizes my TV as a speakers option. That doesn't show up in that options as well.

Yes I did and do! For some reason though it's not recognizing it right now.

I think I know what to do now so I am going to try it and see. If not I will be back!

I had just reinstalled to old hd to come back and ask if that may be tom problem. Now can I just get the wifi driver first and then get connected and do the rest? as this is wearing me out going back and forth.

Yea, if he can't get on internet he can't get drivers unless supplied with computer, you may need to switch it on in the bios to override the usual built in stuff.

Here are the steps to Enable WiFi Network Adapter from BIOS Settings in Windows 10 - Open Settings - Select Update & Security - Select on Recovery - Click on Restart now - Select an option : troubleshoot - Select Advanced options - Select UEFI FIRMWARE Settings - Click on Restart - Now you will enter BIOS Setup - Go to Main - Go to Network Boot - Enable Internal Network Adapter Boot - Save & Exit

I used to do this stuff somwhat but after having a nervous breakdown I can't remember a lot of it so I hope you all understand!

OK a bit unhappy about you using old drives with virus, so is your flat screen a smart tv with wifi  (preferable) or does it have bluetooth (not good if your computer doesn't). Last resort is to use physical connections.

Hmmm?, so you're saying the hard wired video lead also supplies the sound input on your old setup?
