The do you drive question boils down to acceptable risk. We can't save everyone from everything. Life has inherent risk built in. Do we know what percentage of people have been told not to receive a vaccine? How does this weigh up against people that already have died from a vaccine after their government told them it was safe, only to then change recommendations after said deaths? It is still possible that new side effects will come to light? Such questions need to be approached with reasonable, level headed analysis.

I have passed tests that prove to those also on the road that I have at least a basic idea of how to operate a motor vehicle while on "Public Roadways". So I was required to do this to give the public a feeling of some safety and it was required as well as having a seat belt on while I am operating it even though it was required when I was younger. I was allowed to ride in my parents car standing up in the seat but I wouldn't do that today because we know it is not safe. This is just your fear talking not science, this vaccine was sped up because we have a Dept. within our Military that does nothing but plan on how to fight these sorts of things faster than they could yesterday. Just like your phone having more computing power than was used to put Men on the Moon things change and technology is getting faster in a exponential way. Just like the old saying "you tell two friends and they tell two friends and so on and so on". You and younger people getting a vaccine is not about the risk to you as much as it is about stopping this virus just like all other viruses mutate or change and you can be a host for said mutations that could jump the vaccine. You really should read your NEWS from at least 3 different sources before you decide what is fact and what is fiction. Just advice from a OLD MAN but it used to be called verifying your sources.

I must have read news from hundreds of sources at this point. There are enough Doctors that are fully licensed and on the medical registers and other experts in the field with verifiable credentials to give me reasonable pause.

If you are so sure the vaccines are 100% safe, why was the blood clot issue only picked up after they started giving it to millions? What other potential issues are there? There is zero statistical chance of any more serious side effects? The point is I am not fearful for my life over coronavirus, I've probably had it already (fever that peaked at 103f, dry cough etc, didn't get tested, mostly went away after 5-6 days). I am certainly fearful of potential long term complications from a rapidly developed vaccination program, even if the technology itself has been around for a long time.

Anyway starting to go round in circles with this. Good day!

Well, it's been a month since I've had the 2nd shot of Pfizer & I'm liking no more mask, having to don & remove that  shit seemingly 100 times over the course of a day's work.

@ my factory we got (self-sic (to avoid Timmah! grandma police)image.pngtm*ah!) rules against masks with too long "lanyards"?...what do they call them...leashes?...?   They get caught in a machine and you're pulled in.   Makes sense, I don't use a "chainy-connector-thinger", but my point is I'm just not used to thinking that way even after a year+

I steam up a face shield more with a mask on.  Just me?  My breath comes more out the top, over my nose, in my eye ball vision areas.  I'm not crying for real, just seems that way.

I'm all for not getting other people sick and wear a mask around other people, since I'm around enough people to catch and carry, but I suppose I'm lamenting about certain situational rules...<edit>, but yeah, I hear they may want us "Pfizer folks" to get a 3rd shot, since they don't hurt us and they get paid either way?

Let me know if I should pm my conspiracy theories before I present them.    I feel safer in public a month after my 2nd shot anyhow.....

While the gas stations are out of fuel due to hackers I look like a bandit with my black mask and dark sunglasses, not a glimmer of skin above my neck, surprised they sell me anything....but they probably think I look pretty cool 8)

The shot may suck....butt having the virus is worse. I got the virus at the end of December 2019, my body is just now getting some strength back. It thickened my blood, gave me a breathing disorder, I have head aches all the time, sharp weird chest pains and inflammation all over my body still. Fucking Chinese commie party sent this over because Trump was kicking their ass in trade wars....this virus was no accident!

The Plague rolled through inside fleas, which were on rats, on ships.  Commerce & transportation were deadly, even back then.  Had the richest surviving Feudalists scraping through dirt right beside the peasants by the time it was over.  And then the pendulum swung the other way.  Will leave it to whomever to decide its relevance.

OH MY GOD

10 days ago I had my second shot, nothing until I woke up at 1030 this morning, I'm normally up around 7, terrible day shivering, rigors temp of 38.7, and at the moment my blood pressure is falling (wifes a nurse). No appetite and I haven't killed one of you fckrs all day. I feel awful.

10 days ago?  That's quite a delay;  I'm betting you ate some Haggis.  You sure it's not something else... almost  a fortnight out?  Actually, that sounds like some kinda bacterial infection;  seen that a lot in my more-senior charges when they had a uti  or early-onset bacteremia from another source.

Among my many ailments I have an auto immune problem called Henoch Schonlein which literally fights anything in my bloodstream, doctor reckons that's the delay, but both me and the wife are grounded until they send us a covid test and we get the results.

That sucks br0; I can imagine your joints hurt. =(  I trust you keep an eye on your renal health.  Almost feel badly about calling you rotund a couple months ago, now that I know you're prolly puffy from steroids.
