Thought there was some misleading messages around TPM and I can see that the spec page has been updated https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/windows-11-specifications

In any case.. who doesn't run TPM/BitLocker as standard now anyway?

Bitlocker isn't available on Windows 10 Home edition.

Scalpers are buy up all the TPM Modules for boards that don't have TPM built in, so if you need a TPM module make sure you get one for your motherboard brand.

https://blogs.windows.com/windows-insider/2021/06/28/update-on-windows-11-minimum-system-requirements/

Last paragraph- MS is forgoing the TPM 2.0 and cpu generation minimum requirements to see how W11 does on older hardware, then change the minimum system requirements accordingly.

Updated my machine to W11 today and have been having a little play. As one might expect at this stage really its just the UI changes that are noticeable. Everything is working fine and I am liking the organised settings - that has always annoyed me.

Generally the feel is good and I am liking it - looking forward to the next drops.

I might also update O365 to the insider as well, undecided though.

fTPM is built on supported CPU's so no need of module even if have the TPM socket on MB

and some older MB have TPM sockets

The FX-8350, from what I can find out, doesn't have TMP support in it.

Win10, 2024 to 2025. Why the panic.

Windows 10 is fine and not that Vista feeling much. Try to switch a harddrive or a SSD/NVMe to a other system with Secure Boot and TPM. Or, your motherboard is dead,
