Shit, there's plenty of them here in Kentucky.  Cicadas, Lightning Bugs, Chiggers & mosquitoes ate me up wandering around in the woods when I went fishing last week.  Water bugs, Dragonflies, Damselflies....  Shitload of deer, too.  Where you at that you're not seeing much in the way of bugs?

If you read this again Queenie you left yourself wide open (excuse the phrase) for a Rob comment, but I'll be good, hope your bottom gets better soon.

Had one last year jump from a steep embankment & land on the car as I was driving, denting my trunk/b00t deck; better than what I thought it was gonna do, which was come through my window.  Seen 'em jump a good 6 or 7 feet high with ease.

Be glad to share some with you, Japanese beetles are turning my elm, oak, and rhubarb leaves into cheese cloth. Mosquitoes are horrible. Lightning bugs have been pretty @ night though 🤩

Krunch you probably  dont have any bugs cause your prime minister will not open the borders to Canada from the U.S so they can not cross over to you.

actually and unfortunately that is true....I usually see many honey bees and bumbles and lightning bugs here where I live in the country...I even have many plants and flowers that are supposed to attract them.....I even hold off mowing my lawn because of the clover.Last week was the first time I saw honey bees all season (that's not normal and the lightning bug population is much smaller)....it's not fake news or anything like that."They are changing our climate and people are laughing off the chem trails as a conspiracy ...btw the government was the first to coin the phrase after Roswell and it's caught on just like they wanted it to....so they can call these people crazy and dismiss it.....do the research if you love this planet and act.not laugh it off....and I won't get into how they control our crops....and what we eat....
