China is implementing a new online gaming restriction that will affect children and teenagers who are under 18 years old, reports CNBC. Kids will only be able to play online games for an hour a day (8:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.) on weekends and legal holidays. Weekday gaming is prohibited.

OH NOES!!

I can relate to the limit for kids.  Children need to get out and play.  Learn to hunt, fish, do woodworking, swim, play ball, etc..

But this should be a parental decision.  But we are talking about China. 🙂  This type of thing is common there.  What is the penalty for not following the new law ?  Cut your fingers off !!!

Common Joints, when was the last time you seen someone, anyone from china playing any COD game. To tell you the truth they probably are restricted from inter acting with the rest of the world.

Maybe we could do that here - get the kids outside for exercise and do some homework for a change

This only affects online game right? Any Single player offline game doesn't seem to be affected. Also ofc the get around is to use your parent's accounts. There doesnt seem to be a way to check who exactly is on the computer.
