Bought this yesterday for the wife an her son to rebuild. It is a 67 cuda notchback. All original one owner. Paid $2,000.00 cash for it. Already had two people offer me twice the amount we paid. I said no cause it is the wife's car an she will never sell it. All chrome is there an motor is all complete. Been sitting for 10 years. From what we can figure out is, it has only 59,000 miles on the car. can't wait to drink an tell them what wrench to use to take parts off. lol

Other pictures are from the race I went to see today. super charged one is my buddies ricks car. The other one is a friends troy car. Both cars are very fast cars. Fun to watch.

Sweet find!

Tell me, does the tailpipe extension make it go faster?  🙂

Can't wait to see how this thing turns out.  A real gem!

Awesome catch...Hurts my head a little because at one time I would tear into that for the restore (done many) but now the hands don't work at all...A very good friend of mine is a collector and I was one of a few that he would let work on them...Do us all a favor and build a time line in photos of the many updates to it and I still wish I could get my hands in there to help 🙂

Reminds me of when I bought my first lead sled when I was 17; & a Chilton/Haynes manual shortly thereafter.  First thing I did was take the engine down to the cylinder head gasket.  Was actually fun to work on those cars; plenty of room under the hood.

You could make a YouTube series of the process!  I have a few suggestions for a name if you need some ideas.

HotRod55

in 1969 the Barra was dropped, you  have  a Barracuda

Cuda as the more performance-oriented version of the Barracuda back in 1969
A lot of people get the Plymouth Barracuda and ‘Cuda mixed up, so you might go look at a car someone insists is a ‘Cuda but they’re mistaken. The easiest way to get things straight is to check the VIN. All Barracuda VINs start with “BH” and all ‘Cuda VINs start with “BS.”  Obviously, “B” stands for “Barracuda” while “H” is for “High” and “S” is for “Special.”

great find of special car. going to make a daily drive for the Mrs ?

or your way tub it out and drop 426 elephant, IMHO would make it a show car for not many originals left

like rest said time line the build an will give you value and edge when take to car shows

I know it is a barracuda. I just shorten the name cause I can. The interior is ruff seats torn, carpet little moldy and the headliner is pretty much toast hanging down.

when go with manual trans, only cluth pedal headeche mite have to lenghten drive shaft to instal after that no worries.

if want  to stay auto, just need a good set of snap ring pliars and camera / film to take pic's to remember where stuff goes

273 powered? Slant six? Gear car or torqueflite? Sweet find, A body folk are always fun to talk to at meets, they're passionate about their Darts, Valiants, & Dusters. Couple of Mr. Norm's Hemi Darts always draw crowds around here. I saw Hemi Under Glass perform @ Cordova years ago, alongside the Little Red Wagon.
