These take a lot of work but they’re worth it! As you know my dad’s parents immigrated from Lebanon. These beautiful Fatayer or meat turnovers are delicious. Every family spices them differently and some folks use a yeast bread or baking powder bread. We use a yeast bread. The last 20 years or so we’ve resorted to buying frozen dough it works pretty good and saves a couple of hours prep.
I’ve taken a few pictures of the process the final outcome was fabulous it made my dad very happy.

My baby sister was home for a visit with dad. We made 3 big Lebanese meals together, we filled up mom and dad’s freezer.

@Timmah! @FunStick check these out!

No garlic in these, spicy but not hot.

Yes @RobMc the meat is extra lean ground beef. That’s how they rate it here. Regular, medium, lean or extra lean. Most of the ground beef is now ground in some far away slaughter/ meat packing plant. It mostly has too much water content. Years ago all store received their beef in half carcasses. The meat was aged allowed to dry out. Not now animals are slaughtered and cut up within a shorter time frame makes for heavier ie too much moisture in the meat. Instead of frying a burger you end up boiling it. I must say Costco ground beef is about the best I can find locally.

So, what makes it 'indecent' from a jurisprudence pov, I ponder:  Because it can't be the subject matter: My nuts are inarguably handsome; almost personable: they almost beckon the gustatory imperative vis a vis Maslow's base Hierarchy of Needs.  It surely must be the manner in which the subject matter is exposited, then.  eg. Creepy comportment, in which case, it's not lookin' good for more than a couple....***L00ks in @RobMcdirection....*** .   Hence the obfuscatory trench coat.  Well, that went off into the weeds rather quickly...prolly find rob in there somewhere...

Thanks @Timmah!! I learnt 2 new words in your literature: obfuscatory (even the instant corrector doesn't recognize this word) and prolly (probably?). Keep going on! Even if I have to read several times each sentence to start to understand anything. You have to consider that not everybody has such a high IQ as you :yes Besides, my needs stayed at the base of the pyramid, so far...
