WRONG!! Contracted it (probably at my daughter's graduation and I feel like crap. Slowly getting better though. For those of you and WAW I miss playing you guys. Hopefully back in 4-5 days. (like most MDs I am a lousy impatient patient). For everyone. You still need to use masks indoors and if not vaccinated DO IT. Stay safe! Are folks still dying of it or just getting the worst cold of their lives sort of illness? I have had I think 3 vaccine shots so far for it, and my blood type is O so I figure it'll suck for up to a week if I get it, but will survive. Now we have Monkey Pox to worry about, looks painful and awful. 1% will die of it if they get it and some don't ever show symptoms. Apparently this beginning "pandemic" is due to sexual encounters, well folks need to knock that sex with strangers, without condoms nonsense off, good grief. CDC thinks they can manage to track everyone down and contain it SO FAR. Brought it back from NC with her. I am fine, no symptoms and tested negative this morning. For her it's just like a bad cold / flu. Nothing unmanageable. Sore throat and coughing up lots of phlegm etc Turned out my father who I was with at the time has it too after (he was boosted I was not), he was worse off than me I'll tell you that. I had 1/2 days flu symptoms and it eased off, thank god it was the omicron wave and not the other wave. This wave is mild asf but obviously people react differently to it. Pfizer pre-trial docs that were released to the public , it wasn't 95% effective as they said against covid it was actually only 12% for the first week during the pre-clinical trials, not one media organization speaking about it.
