You laugh but I carried one of those things around in the Middle Ages for work. I was forced to check it on a flight to Mexico City (WTF Aeromexico?) and it came through like a champ. They were Compaq Portable Computers and cost $3000 but we called them Luggables because they weighed about 30lbs.1 point

You don't 'install' PHP scripts.. they are interpreted by the web server. As @Barron3000 pointed out W3 schools have everything you need for this including a section on PHP https://www.w3schools.com/php/default.asp It all comes down to web hosting in the end..1 point -
A little tech 101. A data stream for any online game is very small. Nothing near that bandwidth. So you could play many cod sessions on that bandwidth. Now try to run a few game sessions and something else (such as some streaming video) at the same time yes everything will go to hell with the ping. A lot of other factors go into the ping as well from point A to point B1 point

Sorta long story.. but try to make it short. AT&T sucks.... that's the short story. A little more detail. We lived in a double wide trailer on 30 Acres. Trailer was near paved road. We had CRAPPY 1.5 Mbps DSL there, but could play. 2 years ago we built a new house on the backside of same property, probably 2500 ft from trailer through the woods. AT&T won't service us at new house without big bucks, and even if we spend the money, they only will give us 712 Kbps service . Cable internet stops half a mile from us, and they want REALLY BIG bucks to get to us. We currently have Satellite internet, but latency way too high to game. So, that's the story. 2+ years since I shot any of you yahoo's. My last hope is to run cat 5 cable 1000 ft to inlaws and install ethernet extender devices on each end, connect to their DSL and switch to that connection when gaming. A lot of work, but it will be worth it. I've bought the equipment, just have to dig one hell of a ditch, through woods, and hook it all up. I have have had, and continue to have, a lot of family stuff going on, as well as work, so finding the time for that project has been hard. Hopefully I will test it out before too long. Believe me, you will all KNOW when I do.1 point

Miss Beatrice, the church organist, was in her eighties and had never been married. She was admired for sweetness and kindness to all. One afternoon the pastor came to call on her and she showed him into her quaint sitting room. She invited him to have a seat while she prepared tea. As he sat facing her old pump organ, the young minister noticed a cut-glass bowl sitting on top of it. The bowl was filled with water. In the water floated, of all things, a condom! When she returned with tea and scones, they began to chat. The pastor tried to stifle his curiosity about the bowl of water and its strange floater, but soon it got the better of him and he could no longer resist. "Miss Beatrice", he said, "I wonder if you would tell me about this?" pointing to the bowl. "Oh, yes" she replied, "isn't it wonderful? I was walking through the park a few months ago and I found this little package on the ground. The directions said to place it on the organ, keep it wet and that it would prevent the spread of disease. Do you know I haven't had the flu all winter!" The pastor fainted.1 point

Strictly speaking, when you are frozen after dying the game is 'respawning' you normally first just locking you down so you cant move. Its the only way it works to keep the 'kill' scores. Might be an interesting way to take advantage of that. Find a secluded and easily defendable area or room (gotta watch for glitch areas). Guard it both with explosives and a couple players. Everyone place tac inserts there. You die and are sent back but defrosted immediately instead of having to wait for them to hopefully get to you. Go back to the tac insert area, drop one and repeat. Yes you could do the same at spawn points but this would allow you to get away instead of spending your time defrosting players in an area the enemy is watching. There is one drawback however. If the enemy uses a UAV they will see a bunch of red dots in a small area and know its a defrost point. Their goal will be to attack and get the guards. Yes sometimes I think up crazy shit. Kinda have to because sooner or later someone else will and it might actually work.1 point
