YACCster and 4 others reacted to GoatSlayer for a topic
Hey Idiots!! As some of you know, when I am not on COD4 servers getting my packages stolen by Sirtrojan, I am a graphic designer and a lot of my work is in the Board Game industry. We just launched another new game on Kickstarter. I am extremely proud of this one and it is such a great game. If you or anyone you know is into board games visit the page and support the project! Oh, and Happy Birthday Timmah!!!5 points -

Hello, I've been playing insurgency as a secondary game for a while, I always play something else but come back to insurgency. I see ya'll got an old school COD thing going on here, I used to play MW1 with friends and do scrims in CAL. Good old days eh. In-game name is cheetos, for some reason a terrible human being already used this name on this particular forum. Does any clan member frequently play on insurgency servers? I don't recall seeing any clan tags in people's name indicating so.4 points -

Haven’t found one myself yet but my buddy let me shoot his. Funny thing, everytime I stroked the trigger it went off and he yelled “Oh yeah, just like that!”. I’m not sure what he was doing but he wanted me to hold him afterwards.4 points

I don't care what you do in the real world, you can think your not a racist all day long, but if you're in anything >XI< you are considered a racist if you use racist words. This is our house and we have our rules, either play by the rules or we will show you the door.3 points

Sasquatch, anyone?

What make ye, of this image? (Taken with Samsung S7 Edge, last year) The "tri-square," in yellow, is one-foot long at the top, and there's a can of Krylon white spray-paint I used to contour the footprint. My Dad, one year ago, said he woke up about 3:00 a.m. here in Alaska to the feeling of being watched, by something. He then heard "Whoomp . . ., whoomp, . . . ,, whoomp . . .," like the sound of something big and heavy walking slowly, just outside his bedroom window. The "whoomp, whoomp, whoomp" sounds slowly faded. It was mid-April, here in Alaska, and the ground was still frozen. He woke me up at 8:00 a.m. to tell me what he heard. I grabbed my semi-auto Remington, with a 10-round clip of 180-grain .30-06 shells, "jacked a shell in the chamber," put it on safety, and went outside to look. I walked slowly around his house, and this footprint immediately jumped out at me. Immediately jumped out. Look at the periphery; the edges in the frozen ground are cleanly-cut, not smashed, as they would be if the ground were not frozen. This will be mentioned in my book, as perhaps a prologue. Thanks to @T-Rat, who planted the seed, my inspiration is "cast in stone," or "set in concrete." Or, maybe try to reverse those two, @TBB. Lol. Look again, and zoom in, as you probably will. While my cousin, James and I, were camped out in a pouring rain about 35 - 40 miles north of Koliganek, Alaska, last July, in a pouring-frickin' rainstorm, we heard some very loud "whoomps, whooomps, whoomps" around our tent. Him and I both popped up outta our sleeping bags after the second "whoomp." I said, "James, talk really loud about how your day has been," as I jacked a 180-grain Remington shell into my semi-auto .06. When camping in bear country, my beloved gun sleeps next to me, and my Ruger 44-caliber magnum pistol is within "lunging distance." The frickin' whoomping sound circumvented our tent; I had a shell in the chamber (gun on safety), as I pointed the barrel towards where I thought the vital kill-shots might be on something you couldn't see.. I asked James, loudly, to describe what kinda day he had. I couldn't be a durned fool and start blasting through our vulnerable nylon tent. I distinctly thought about the "whoomping" noises about "something big, and something heavy" that Dad described to me a couple of months earlier. This, too, shall be recounted in my book. In the meantime, take another look at that picture. And, I saw one through my Leopold Golden Ring II scope, at Harris Creek, 40 miles north of Koliganek. And, I saw reflecting eyes looking at us after I fired a warning shot at the first one. If I tried to shoot the first one, this post, kind sirs and madams, would not have happened. Ayaq2 points -

It's unfortunate that you've been playing here a while and you know the rules, I presume, rather well. Derogatory terms such as what your son used are banned here. This is to ensure no one feels unwelcome in our house. What's sad is that as a parent you're in a way justifying your kid's action. I understand the colloquials in your kid's environment contain the use of such terms. However, we would've expected you to respect the server rules. They are no joke, as you've now found out.2 points

Only 7.8% of the U.S. population has served in the military. Compared with 12.6% of the population being made up of people of African decent, does that make me an even smaller minority? I wouldn't classically define using the N word as racism... I would define that as bigotry. Racism has a specific meaning - using your race to keep, hold, and exercise power over other races. Derogatory words or comments, like the one that HellspawnJR used, is on it's face bigoted. However, words like that are used to dehumanize people based specifically on their race. Kind of like calling people "animals." And dehumanizing people is a form of keeping, holding, and exercising power over someone else.2 points

Hey, happy birthday, @Sharpe (pronounced--by me, anyway--"Sharp-ay"). You, I'm almost positive, were the subject of RuPaul's song "Work it Girl." "Work . . . work it, girl, . . . do your thing, to the rhythm of my heartbeat . . . Sharp-ay_Sharp-ay_Sharp-ay!!" Or was it "Shante (pronounced "Shont-ay")?" Lol. Happy birthday to Sir Sharp-ay, Lord of Works-it-A-Lot! Ayaq1 point
